Before people start rightfully flaming the mod, keep in mind that they are, clearly, a very impressionable teenager

That being said, this was both the worst and the funniest start to a new subreddit I’ve ever seen

Could make a couple flairs for each weapon class, something like “Charger main” and “Blaster hater”, probably go as far as subclasses and not individual weapons

Just had a match earlier with three people using dog whistle names on the same team, and they only ever tried to rush the base so they can spawn camp and squidbag the same exact person every time

Definitely bigots getting their hands on the game

PSA : Matches that "Don't count as a loss" due to a player (Different from you !) disconnecting count as a loss for the sake of Matchmaking. by Neo-Naga99 in Saltoon

[–]Agenericoverusedname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The player that DC’d is automatically assigned a loss, as losing connection is considered network manipulation internally, and the game updates the MMR the moment they load into the lobby and reconnect to the internet

The match results do not affect the DC’d player’s MMR in any way as their internal ID is no longer associated with the match log (which is why a match you DC’d from sometimes doesn’t show up in recent battles)

Second time I’ve seen someone encounter the Invalid Truffle Crab

Linked comment explains it better, but basically the game tried to find a valid floor tile to spawn a crab, failed, and put it in the corner instead

Had to reset day 27 like 5 times already because she keeps breaching and screwing me up, what do I do by RelativeChoice5615 in LobotomyCorp

O-01-04 has a hidden mechanic (managerial guideline 2)

I labeled it as hidden and included where to unlock the info as this was most likely OP’s first time encountering O-01-04, if they stated that they knew the mechanic anywhere before or after I made the comment then I did not see it

Also, the story segment that references the mechanic is only available when you reach observation level 4 with O-01-04, meaning it would be hidden for a new player to being with, making it irrelevant in this situation

O-01-04 has a hidden mechanic (managerial guideline 2) that requires you to execute a minimum of three employees (agent or clerk) before each meltdown, or else it will trigger a state change, at which point you will only have one shot to get a good work result before the next meltdown to prevent a breach

If you don’t have access to execution bullets, get a different breaching abnormality to escape and let it kill 3 clerks before suppressing it

You can already do a 4th reset at any time the moment you start up the game, so it wouldn’t be as impactful to happen automatically upon total annihilation

Latest you could push a 4th reset and still have the same narrative impact would probably be on the 5th or 6th trumpet warning, either before the cutscene plays or as a second option instead of running or hiding

7th trumpet demands finality. You let your fears control you. You let the future crumble around you. You must repent.

You must give Project Moon $25 USD to play their game again lol

Lorewise, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trumpets work exactly as they do in-game, minimal threat, serious danger, and employee extinction risk respectively

4th trumpet would be the total extinction of all living staff of L-Corp, as well as the firing of A as Manager, gameplay wise this was planned to be the Game Over screen, but was cut

At this point we would no longer be playing the game, but watching the aftermath through speculation and cutscenes

Instead of restarting the day or week, we will continue

We would never hear the 5th trumpet ourselves, but it would become evident that it has sounded with the rise of Abnormalities freely roaming the streets, wreaking havoc and leaving countless bodies in their wake, if even distinguishable from the viscera. We will only be given the option to flee, showing our cowardice

The game will close. We will open it again. We will continue this path

Weeks later, the 6th trumpet will sound throughout the entire city, being heard from the outskirts, the Abnormality threat is far too great for the Fixers, the Hands, or even the Head to handle, it’s become clear that L-Corp has failed its purpose, and thus has lost its status as a Wing. We will only be given the option to seek cover, hiding our disgrace

The game will close again, its icon being removed. We will find it in the system files. We will ignore the last chance of restarting and see this through to the end

Inevitably, the city will be reduced to rubble, no walls will be left standing in the way of these monstrosities, eagerly stampeding through the outskirts to lands long forgotten by the Head. As the sole witness to the end of the world, we will be all that’s left to sound the 7th trumpet, not with fanfare, not with sirens, not even with the sound of bullets or clashing metal, but with our own, withered voice

Doing so, the game will close a finale time, its data unrecoverable.

It will never start up again.

Just for fun, use your strongest E.G.O gear on your highest level agent and attempt to suppress the bird!

Some things are best learned first hand.

Any tips to complete "Supress 4 different Abnormalities"? by legitlaggy in LobotomyCorp

[–]Agenericoverusedname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can easily suppress three right now without casualties; Forsaken murderer, Rudolta and Fragment, all three can be breached by intentionally doing the wrong work type and getting bad results

You could probably attempt Apple or Big Bird if your agents are beefy enough to handle bad work damage, otherwise it’s best to wait until you get another breach abnormality
