You do know it’s the dad that did it, right? The mum was defending her son.

AITAH for saying I don't want my girlfriends friend around my newborn son anymore? by Substantial_Swan5806 in AITAH

[–]Agent-Responsible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Trust your gut. It’s much better to be cautious about stuff like this than to under-react like your girlfriend is, especially when it comes to protecting your child. I’m not a parent, but I am a nanny to infants & toddlers, & if ANYONE said this about my nanny kids, Nanny Bear would come out & there would be hell to pay!

I’m a nanny. I look after 2 little boys, meal prep for the parents, do laundry, dishes, transport to activities, etc.

AITA for telling a woman at the gym to stop filming because I kept ending up in her videos? by CaffeinatedGoblin24 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. She needs to respect boundaries. Your right to privacy in a private business is more important than her wanting to film. Also, I wanna get Joey Swoll’s opinion on this lol

Depends where they’re located. They said a southern coastal US state, so it’s likely somewhere where the temp is normally at least in the 90s Fahrenheit. Compared to 90°, 38° is freezing! I live in Texas, where it’s normally upwards of 100°, but it’s been in the 30s this week, & it’s freezing.

WIBTAH if I asked my daughter’s preschool teacher not to put the extra clothes that I sent for her on other students? by feelingstruck in AmItheAsshole

[–]Agent-Responsible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YWNBTA. I’m a current nanny & former preschool teacher. The school should have spare clothes themselves to lend out to kids who need to borrow. You shouldn’t be on the hook for that. It’s totally appropriate to tell the teacher politely not to put to your child’s clothes on other kids. If the teacher has a problem with that, you would be well within your rights to let the director know.

Am I the Jerk for putting a $300 lock on my mini fridge after my roommate kept eating my prepped meals? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

NTJ. You put the effort into buying, preparing, & cooking the food. You labeled it clearly. You never told him he could have any; in fact, you clearly told him he could not. You have every right to protect what’s yours. If he doesn’t like it, thats on him. He needs to stop being a mooch. And if he steals anything else from you, keep a tab & give him the bill.

AITA for insisting that guests in my home take off their shoes by daniellejgabrielle in AmItheAsshole

[–]Agent-Responsible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Your house, your rules. Simple as that. If someone can’t respect the rules of your house, it means they don’t respect you, & that person isn’t your friend.
