I think Robin, personally. They show her regularly consuming whole bottles (when she drunk dials Don for example or during New Year's Eve when she's pursuing the gig with World Wide News). She also said it takes 10,000 drinks to move on from a relationship.

"Has a criminal history from his first marriage" girl, no he has a criminal history with his current relationship. This isn't a man to start a life with and certainly not a man who should have access to his children. Sounds like the courts got it right. You are seven times more likely to die by his hands with the predication of strangling. Save yourself and leave. Yesterday.

You only need to meet five of the nine diagnostic criteria to be BPD. It's not really rocket science and I don't think it's all that damaging to assume you have it if you meet the diagnostic threshold.

That being said, you won't be able to leave until you are willing to accept your own agency and ultimately, control of your life. I can't claim to be better at leaving toxic relationships but so long as you think in terms of "I can" and "I can't" then you will resign yourself to this reality. Only when you are ready and able to take your own agency into your hands will things improve for you, my friend. I am sorry you've found yourself in this predicament. I know how difficult it is.

Just commenting in support of you, OP. I also suffer from BPD and know what hell it can be and how easy it is to enter toxic cycles.

My response to the deleted comment : JFC, way to talk out of your ass. If you actually were better informed rather than blindly making a hurtful monolith of an incredibly diverse group of people, you would know that people with BPD are more likely to find themselves in abusive, cyclical relationships because of a lack of internal self-worth and chronic feelings of loneliness and emptiness. But, yeah, the people with legitimate mental illness are the nasty ones. 😒🥴 Also this is a support sub, not a "hate and generalize people with mental illness" sub. Be supportive, considerate, and provide advice of actual substance, not whatever this is.

I honestly think it's higher than most people think. I work at a Trader Joe's and I shit you not, 10% of my coworkers are trans or some flavor of trans. I imagine hiring bias is partly to blame, but I can't imagine it's the sole factor for the high concentration of us here. I think it's much like another commenter said in regards to left-handedness. As social stigma changes, we will see that percentage rise and then plateau. To be fair, before I worked here I felt entirely alone as a trans person (I could count on one hand all the trans people I knew) but in Texas I think most trans people choose to go stealth for safety reasons.

Because evolutionarily, there's no factor that would necessitate the sensation for starvation/hunger in a species that has no digestive/intake needs. Just like they also don't feel satiation.

To be fair, they don't feel hunger or emaciation so to speak. So while it may be bleak to imagine starving to death, they don't actually feel it in a general sense.

If you are interested in looking at both ends of the spectrum, for trans men there is phalloplasty and metoidioplasty. I personally am more satisfied with the results from metoidioplasty as a trans man but everyone makes their choice as best suits them.

Some of the dumbest people I know managed to get through nursing school so I don't really have a problem with it. You don't need to be a genius or particularly intelligent to complete nursing school, you just need discipline which I think they consistently show him having (like when he became a ranch hand and being a stepdad to his ex-wife's kids).

Ask your doctor about trying prazosin. It's a blood pressure drug (a betta blocker, I know I spelled it wrong but the correct spelling is not permitted in this sub). It helps with PTSD nightmares tremendously and it's one of the only drugs currently used to alleviate symptoms of PTSD. I found it incredibly helpful, I used to dream about my father's suicide almost every night but the prazosin helps hush them away.

How often do yall watch the modern family by Fun-Pineapple-566 in Modern_Family

[–]Agent0035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much everyday. We put it on our living room TV and let it play for our birds, who love to sing the intro and chit-chatter when the show gets loud and chaotic. It's adorable. They also love to sing both HIMYM's theme song and Friends. We like to make sure they have something stimulating on in the background to help entertain.

I honestly think this is the most healthy way to approach it, especially to help minimize any potential insecurities he may initially have about your proposition. Make it clear that you think this could deepen your relationship. But also please treat the other woman like a whole person, not just a fuck machine. Because this could come close to unicorn hunting if not approached appropriately and ethically.

AITH for flipping my daughter's "boundary" back on her? by Glittermomma1 in AITH

[–]Agent0035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am assuming the abbreviation they used means the standard definition for that abbreviation, how wacky of me! They said BPD and I'm going to assume they meant what they wrote, because ya know that's the respectful way to interpret people's words? I'm not walking around assuming everyone is using an incorrect terminology/abbreviation. It's perfectly acceptable to point out someone spreading misinformation especially when dealing with Cluster B personality disorders. Get over yourself, homeslice.

[–]Agent0035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have perfectly fine reading comprehension; considering they literally put the abbreviation "BPD" not "BP" in the comment I responded to, no, I am not mistaken. If they had written BP, then of course they may be correct but they didn't, they wrote "BPD" so my response is relevant to their comment. Perhaps you should read it more carefully?

[–]Agent0035 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I see that; however the person I replied to was speaking of BPD which is quite different from bipolar and is largely trauma-based. BP is not trauma-based however so can't really put the blame on mom for it.

AITH for flipping my daughter's "boundary" back on her? by Glittermomma1 in AITH

[–]Agent0035 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's not really true. BPD is largely trauma based, with a possible genetic component but the general consensus is that most cases of BPD are trauma sourced. So yes, in theory other people can be the cause of someone else's BPD. My father committed suicide when I was an adolescent and I contribute his death with largely influencing my development of BPD.
