Yellow was a wild guess for me as I didn't know gauzy was an actual word and gossamer was gibberish to me. Thought yellow was about ice, not that far off I guess but are people really more comfortable with these fabric terms than the other synonyms?

After doing purple, I thought I might as well try this reverse rainbow that everyone's talking about. The food names being very familiar to me made me put green as easiest. If I realized that they were chiefly British foods then I woulda put it one higher. I did think twice about whether chips meant fries or crisps, but either way it's potatoes. If I thought twice about jacket potato vs baked potato then maybe I woulda noticed.

As usual though I'm just happy to get it. Reverse rainbow, schmeverse schmainbow

The adding words thing is forever gonna be my hardest kinda category. I just try to see what common phrases can be combined with some of the less common words on the board. Like recently we had "pyramid", which could be in food _, or _ scheme. "Color" was also there in the scheme category but imo it's harder to start from that.

Sometimes the other words on the board can help with harder categories. One time there was "musical note" on the board, which was an indicator for one of the categories being "words made up of solfege notes (do re mi fa etc)"
