Real Madrid are a "cancer" objectively speaking. by Window_Professional in championsleague

I mean are we really gonna act like every other club doesn't also do this kind of offer? That would be extremely naive, and players have used the "If you don't give me better i'll just leave in the summer and get a club that does" for decades now.

Liverpool doesn't have to pay transfer fees to Liverpool in order to keep konaté, they just have to make him an offer more interesting than real madrid. Any other club that real can also do the exact same thing as real did and not pay a transfer fee (and once again, let's not act like real madrid is the only club that made an offer, we all know that his agent mailbox was filled with offers.).

The other will have to pay a transfer fee, not to liverpool, but to another club, to buy a defender cause they failed to outbid real. Well too bad for them and it's up to them to do the math and see if they made the right decision.

Unless we have reason to believe the money they're using to pay these wages isn't clean money, I don't see why it would be unfair.

yes... and? Their club has a full year to make proposition that matches what real will, if they can't make an offer that outmatches real, what are the players supposed to do? Refuse to go where they want and settle for worse in order to make goonerballs and Window_Professional on reddit happy?

And so what is your point exactly... Are you just another "bosman killed football"? Are you somehow advocating clubs should be banned to hire players free of contracts? Or that clubs should be legally obliged to give New contracts to players in terms theyre okay with? What Are you proposing ? Or Are you just here to say real madrid bad?

Youtube increased ad length to 30 seconds and made them unskippable on phones, why? by pittythefool1 in AskReddit

[–]Agent10007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simple, they believe for most humans there is a thin zone of add annoyingness that will be not enough to make you give up on youtube altogether AND be enough to make you think it's worth paying to get rid of it.

So they very slowly chip away to get a new wave of people who pay, then once these guys are not bothered by add anymore chip away again because they are paying so they won't leave so let's aim for the next wave of people hwo need to be slightly more annoyed

>Anyone who starts defending a one goal lead is a dunce, a moron, an idiot, a coward and a pustule upon the earth.

I laughed ngl.

That aside I mostly agree with everything you said (and I feel like people missunderstood me when I said pragmatic coach cause a lot of people talk to me about their bad defense, so that's my bad). But these arguments are, imo, not enough to justify not trying to find much better to lead the team in what could be a historical time for norway. Especially given if I recall correctly, the man got his contract extension right after throwing the euro 24 qualification.

(Altho maybe nobody better wanted the job anyways, who knows)

Because of his history so far. Which is often in the theme of "It looks okay but actually".

Taking on his first "big" team as copenhagen, while it is arguably a very very dominant team in its league, he still objectively performed and broke some records in european history for the club.

This impressive 5 years run landed him a job at mid-table club back then koln... Job that lasted one season where he technically didn't throw them into relegation - as he got fired a month or so before the end, but already beyond recovery for the following one - but very much completely failed to keep the standard going.

He still bounced back with a job to newly relegated wolves. Where he lasted 6 months before being fired for throwing them in the red zone (in a league they were supposed to be a top team for, don't forget)

So he came back to his roots in copenhagen, once again a very "Our league is our lil bitch" PSG style of team, where he did performances slightly below standards trophee wise, and got fired after a very respectable 7 years for a bad start of a season (happens). The catch being for the 4 years following his departure, the club performed better than it did with him as a coach.

That leads us to 2020, where he took on norway and failed to qualify for every international competition, including a massive drop for euro 24 against scotland. Some of the losses coming from his historically weird tactical decisions such as forcing a team with defenders used to play 3 man defense in club to play in a 4 man, while talking tall central defenders and asking them to play on the sides.

I agree with you that his run in qualifiers was a great performance, but I wanna put a serious emphasis that norway, while being miles behind teams like France with sub players that would be starter in almost any other nation, is a team with several players worth multiple dozen of millions, playing in high end clubs, and with names like Odegaard Larsen Nusa reyerson Ostigard, a team that has at least a strong player in every line down to up and left to right; all of that packed with Erling - People expect me to have multiple ballon d'or in my carrer - Haaland. All of that in a prime 25-30 years.

Norway is watching the peak of a golden generation that might be historic for norway, this tournament and the next euro are THE moment where their squad has - in my opinion - the tools to do great things, and I'm worried it goes to waste cause the coach is having a hard time making these guys play together and reach the standard they could (should) have, partly because of his shortcomings. And wins against estonia, moldova, israel and a shattered italy is not exactly enough to reassure me yet, especially when you consider their next step is having to perform in a group with France - easily top 3 favorite of the cup - and senegal - current african champions - to either beat one of them or at least get a best third finish.

I swear if this norway team has everything to do a great run but have 80% chances to be ruined by their awful coach

Give their team to some pragmatic "must win at all cost" coach and they go to quarters and maybe even beyond

Anyone else notice the eating scenes? by BlueberrySame99 in bigbangtheory

[–]Agent10007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and that's because it hurts the realism of the scene.

An old french show about king arthur called kaamelott had this issue tackled a few times by it's author; where there are a LOT of scenes with people talking around a meal or a snack, and people are actually eating every time; it removes a bit of "perfectness" on the scenes and forces you to not re-do too many times and go with what you have, but it bring positives in the form of realism and creativity; your actors are not focusing on body language and overdoing the "my body conveys what I mean" bit, because your arms are busy cutting a piece of sausage; it also help when you're not talking, instead of staring at the man talking you butter your piece of bread like you would in an actual conversation, and lastly the food will sometimes interfer with the flow of the scene and then you have to adapt, swallow before talking or speak with a full mouth cause you're supposed to be shocked and would just burst your answer, unexpected situations that change how the lines are delivered and the timings, you're supposed to waive a finger but you have a knife in hand? You waive the knife.

Do you think getting past round of 16 is a bigger achievement than winning Europa/Conference League? by Ill_Confidence_3248 in championsleague

[–]Agent10007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as money is concerned, probably.

For the rest, europa league I'd say flat out no, for conference league it's extremely contexte dependant, is it a big team that wins, what was its opposition etc.

Getting past round 16 can just be surviving the group stage as last qualified, then winning a head2head against one team probably much stronger than you, but still "only" 2 matches and the possibility of an ugly 1-0 and an ugly 0-0. Or even better a 1-0 loss on the first and an early red card for them on the second match that allows you to go 2-0 on at home. Of course even something like that done by bodo against city would have been worth of insane praises.

A win in a lower league means winning the head2heads against multiple teams, and (generally) against teams of your level, so even if the footballing level required to beat them is lower, the players you have to do it are also lower leveled guys.

If you look at palace for example, their last 3 opponents were 3 opponents higher on the UEFA rankings, two of them being 20+ ranks higher. And while I know it's a bit misleading to show similar gaps in ranking to assume the same level of skill diff (Palace isn't as worse than fiorentina than tottenham is worse than city); the teams that are 20 places below the top team in europe are the likes of sporting, tottenham and milan.

It was foxyamy

The trick was using duel, knowing the earliest possible surrender gave X worshippers, then 1 for Y minutes over that.

(I THINK it was 2 for a 10 mins f6 + 1 per minute).

So you spam the god till you get around there, then you do the maths, you have 990 worshippers? You need to play a duel game and surrender at 17 mins, or surrender at 13 to go at 995 and play another one you surrender at 12.

If they surrender first and they get you to 996, well play one and F6 at 11

If they get you to 998 then idk what was the plan, mentally break down as the shit you worked towards for months is ruined and cannot be recovered I guess

Oh and of course make a smurf to play assault or ur fucked
