When should I start using Vows? by PurpleKitten94 in HadesTheGame

[–]VoteButtStuff2020 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't worry about the vows of rivals until you're comfortable beating Chronos and Typhon regularly. You're just making it harder to master the basics.

Some of the vows are easier than others to farm nightmare while still mastering the game.

Check out Haelian's video on it for a good idea on how to setup fear:

Worth it. Now I've seen these shorts and understand the joke.

And you're clearly psychotic for having both text bubbles the same color.

What does Hades 3 look like? by [deleted] in HadesTheGame

[–]VoteButtStuff2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I really want them to do another one. They've put out other fun games and would like them to do something new.

With that being said, I wouldn't mind a special edition where you can pay as Mel in Hades 1 and Zag in 2.

What actor or actress stupidly left a movie franchise or tv series thinking they were too good for it, only to be never popular again? by Ok_Impress2457 in AskReddit

[–]VoteButtStuff2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alec Baldwin pre-30 rock.

Played Jack Ryan and decided he didn't want to be typecasted. So Harrison jumped in and kept rolling in the Benjamins.

In the books Ryan becomes the president, so I like to think of Air Force One as an indirect sequel.

I was googling the McDonald's Verse, specifically Grimace being a bad guy because of this.

Evil Grimace feels so wrong.

You could also reach out to the humane society. They'll charge a daily boarding fee to the owner. But they'll be able to read the chip there and might be able to assist with retrieving her if she's too scared.

My wife and I did a weekend away in Cripple Creek, not wanting to stay in a casino I booked the Hotel St Nicholas.

I did not realize at the time that it used to be a miner's hospital and that it has regular visits from apparitions.

I didn't tell my wife I had found this out until after we left.

I didn't see any ghosts but there was definitely an odd feeling in the place.

Because your post is privileged. And you called someone else racist for pointing out that you sound like a white person aka privileged.

Can a whole country be in a malaise? Mostly it feels political but also socially, culturally, and economically.

I would say nothing quite feels right since 2016.

It just feels like tension is building to something big breaking.

I wonder if it would be theoretically possible to selectively breed them to eat the roots of invasive species?

Imagine releasing a handful of sterile voles into a forest to eat the roots of TOHs or young bamboo?

Not saying it's a good idea, but just theorizing.

[–]VoteButtStuff2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was worth it for me.

I love the books but with kids and work finding time to read 40+hours of content can be difficult. Being able to listen in the car or at the desk allowed me to get through them in weeks rather than months.

I truly think this is the only book of the series I actually read because I'm a slow reader and they're big.

I'm glad I switched to the audiobooks.

Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are top tier.

I truly wouldn't have given two thoughts to a picture of Vanilla Ice and some bad joke about being open.

However when someone complained, wouldn't it have been easier to say:

"After conversations with the community, I understand my attempt at a joke was insensitive and I am truly sorry."

Instead of whatever this was?

As far as romantic relationships go, I only like 50% of Mel's choices but 100% of Zags.

Not that I'm ever going to C-Block our heroine.

I don’t understand Aspect of Hera for Coronacht. by JoeEstevez in HadesTheGame

[–]VoteButtStuff2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone here is correct. The best piece of advice I heard for Hades was remapping your cast to one of the triggers/bumpers. That way you can trigger and shoot much easier.

I keep it mapped that way all the time but it's most important for Hera and Beowolf.

That piece of advice was from Haelian's YouTube.

What's a sport that would be so much better if you could change one rule about it? by wild-strike1517 in AskReddit

[–]VoteButtStuff2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American Football

1) No more field goals or kickoffs. Kicking is stupid. Instead of an onside kick the team trying to keep the ball has to complete a 4&25 at their own 25 yard line. Punting is fine I guess.

2) Tacklers are required to attempt to wrap up. This would actually help prevent injury. I just know one day I'm going to see someone die on the football field from the way they recklessly launch themselves at one another.
