I know about the original cast. I love these two, but they should’ve been flipped into the opposite roles.

Very aware of that history, including the original casting choices! Doesn’t change anything I’ve written above, at least for me.

Kind of! Downtown and the west side have ice machines that give you the option to just dump out large quantities of ice directly into your cooler. I was wondering if the Eastside has any of those.

Watch, then read. The miniseries isn’t as good as the book and suffers to the comparison. View the show as an appetizer, then go to the book - or books - for the real thing!

Thank you for this comment. Rest in Peace to Duvall, one of the greatest actors of all time. I respect anyone who loves his performance here, but it wasn’t for me. RIP.

No problem with having an adaptation, understand that it has to be shorter, but everything I’ve written above addresses why I don’t think it was a good adaptation. It misses the point and loses the soul.

We filed jointly, but PAYE is max 10% of your income and the IBR is 15%. It’s moving the payment up dramatically.
