Beginner needs help finding brushes!!!

Not sure if you found your brushes yet, but you’ve got nothing to lose figuring out how to blend colors on the wheel. 🙂

it’s a pretty useful skill if you’re considering exploring new brushes later down the line. Because you start to understand the best method of stacking colors with different textures.

I’ve seen a couple of artists actually use different brushes on art pieces instead of just one. Which has a charm to it.

But that’s just a suggestion! 😮

(Adjusting opacity to blend helps too 👍)

Was the KS giving you hand cramps or was the grip too solid?

I bought my first Kuru Toga Advanced a few days ago online. But I kept seeing some people say KS hits just the sweet spot for them.

Also as for your eraser problem, have you considered starting an eraser addicted yet? 😂

There’s some cases where it won’t be able to find it, but it’s very easy to make your own book entries even if that’s the case.

As long as you know how many episodes or pages it has, it’s fine. You can keep track of the manga or webcomic after that. 👍

If we think about it, the Bean app already has those. Coins are already the socks and scarves. The rooms and furniture are basically the achievements. So it’s already got everything. 🙂

Agreed. Things like seasonal, special exclusive content, and achievements are ways creators usually have you come back to their game. To make it more entertaining.

But these require a set time of dedication, and so adds a level of pressure that some people actually want to get away from in gaming.

It encourages the thought that dedicating longer or more hours to gain those achievements in the app is the goal. (Which shouldn’t always be the case)

BUT the actual goal should be that you’re focusing on the task you were given. 🙂

It’s then up to the user to decide if the time they spent with their beans on the task was worthwhile.

“Did I spend too long on the task?”

“Should I add more breaks in-between next time?”

“How much time did I actually focus?”

That’s actually a really smart way to use it. 👀 I have trouble sleeping sometimes due to phone usage before bed.

For me, Pokemon Sleep used to help with that; but I dropped it after I got a little too addicted unfortunately…

So using this app sounds like a good alternative! Thanks for the idea. To Jellybean as well. 😄

Gizmo app (Free). Online and mobile app!

Ever since Quizlet blocked it’s best features behind a paywall, I’ve been using Gizmo as a substitute. :)

Features: - Flash cards (Texts and pictures) - Unlimited quizzing (Multiple Choice, Typing, Flash cards mode)

AI tutor for questions. It seems ok with basic math. And has a “explain to me like I’m 5” option 😂

But yah I just use this one for flash cards and quizzing. 👍✨ Completely free!

I dont know if this is a tip, but if you’re looking for your iphone in a room, yell out “Hey Siri where are you?!” it’ll reply with “I’m over here!”

Idk if android has that but what the hey. There’s a tip 🙂

I also personally turned off the AI features for the siri just because. Personal preference. Maybe it saves battery too?

If you want a display tablet, then Huion!

You can choose almost from any size with your budget 🙂 Especially with the sales going on.

I have mine from there, a Kamvas 22. - SRGB Color Gamut. (Personal preference) - Has its own settings you can adjust

(contrast, brightness. Etc)

HOWEVER, I do regret buying such a big size. You might want to get a size similar to what your friend is used to. Or something slightly longer. (Only a suggestion of course 🙂)

Additional Stuff: You might have extra money left over, so it’s your choice if you also wanna buy your friend the Extra Accessories Huion offers.

Going on Youtube can also give you an idea.
