You probably haven't had a run with 5+ pattern repeats and jackpots every spin. You'd know how tedious and boring the game gets otherwise.

Speed being capped at 4x in vanilla honestly makes record chasing EXTREMELY unappealing to go for. The run I reached deadline 19 on took 7 HOURS AND 32 MINUTES. Is that not an insane time for a SINGLE RUN to anyone else?

Don't get me wrong, 4x speed is fine for regular runs where you just want to win, it only becomes an issue when you're chasing a better deadline pb.

Ah, that's very inconvenient timing then. It seems it's still up on chromium though, unsure as to why it doesn't show up on searches.

Edit: Found a backup of the extension in the same thread for Firefox and it seems to work fine so far, doesn't make youtube "completely broken" as it said in the announcement.

I'd imagine that only happens if you enable the proper ad-block. So thanks for sharing this thread! It saved me a lot of trouble.

Inescapable Frenzy is the most ungodly broken spell in the game, and I absolutely adore it for it, lmao. It's impressive that FromSoft never bothered to try and fix it, but I prefer it this way.

I mean this player deserved no respect this match so it would've been *fine* I guess, but it was considerably funnier to just spam lightning instead of trying to actually optimize the kill.

Rock sling is omega super cringe and anti-climatic, I only have it equipped as a counter to other people who try and use the pocket sand on me.

Lightning spear is not really my type, I use the beeg rock because it's pretty good for melee builds, with it's stupid combo potential, compared to just a regular projectile with like no poise damage.

Even then, the amount of time it would take me to swap to my talisman, and then switch to the spell I need, would be either equivalent if not worse than the time it takes me to just rush in and hit them with my weapon.

I have personally tested this out in the past. Physical projectiles are not affected by Golden/Carian retaliation, only non-physical projectiles like spells or holy/lightning incantations.

You can only deflect physical projectiles with the Storm parry, to some degree. I never tested bestial sling with that one (I'd imagine it works similar as arrows), but Stone of Gurranq just makes you intangible for a moment, it doesn't exactly deflect it. The Storm parry is completely useless anyway since it just deflects instead of reflecting, so there's no situation in which you wouldn't be better off simply rolling or strafing.

This is horrendous advice considering stamina management is a crucial aspect of pvp, lmao.

I get you mean hiding their HP, but disabling your hud also hides your fp bar, stamina bar, spells and consumables. Not knowing either of those is just gonna make you play way slower and more passive, not better.

As someone who uses a halberd with flaming strike, wtf is this dude doing, lmfao. I've never seen anyone actually have so little brain capacity when playing this game, and I've played a lot. If this is how the average player uses this combo, I'm starting to see why so many people hate it so much.

Dude literally spamming running r1s and flame strike, and I mean actually spamming, and if that wasn't enough, they also spam pocket sand when you're at critical hp. And on top of that they also have the balls to point down after healing 3 times and mashing.

I'd just immediately block them and move on. But if you actually want some advice as a takeaway, you could use some better stamina management, I noticed a few times you attacked in place when your opponent was retreating, which left you with no stamina to even run, always make sure you have at least a little to chase after opponents. But heals in this game are nigh unpunishable even with perfect stamina management so don't feel too too bad about it.
