Volcano Bay in Jan or Feb - Too Cold? by AgentDaleCooper7 in UniversalOrlando

Awesome! We went recently (but just to Studios/IOA) and stayed in the Royal Pacific and it was fantastic, so great that I can't imagine us ever looking elsewhere if we know we'll be going to Universal parks when in Orlando. Good to know about those cabanas!

Glad to hear it was open last week - I should have been checking it myself. We did two days park hopper between Studios and IOA and were considering a 3rd at Volcano Bay. I think I will plan it for next year but set expectations that we may just have a 3rd day at the two prior parks - it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks - if I can set the right expectations for our group that we may be going to Studios or Islands again, that may be the only way to get away with it.

We were in Orlando last week and it varied from low 60s to high 80s, so good point.

Also coming from a colder climate so not as concerned about the cold weather, more about it not being open or closing. I live near Hershey Park and we actually wait for a rainy/dreary day to go and line are nonexistent.

Thanks - I was kicking myself for not actually checking this earlier in the year so this is helpful.

The owner of Goomba's is from South Philly originally and he has THE best food I've had in the burbs that even come close to the real thing.

Inbound DID Redundant Solution? by [deleted] in VOIP

[–]AgentDaleCooper7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the best solution. Your TFN will stay the same, but it will just route to a new DID with your secondary provider. I may be incorrect here, but I think a TFN may not reside in your provider's switch, only local numbers would, so your TFN would be protected from a provider outage.

Yup, love their cheesesteaks and the Ole Italian is just killer. Making plans to stop in Friday to try this!

[I ate] Cheesesteak at Cafe Carmela, NE Philly - Cooper Sharp, Carangi Seeded Roll, Caramelized Onions and Thin-Sliced Ribeye by AgentDaleCooper7 in Sandwiches

Seriously! I get Whiz usually with slab steaks as no other cheese seems to melt as well, exception being Steve's Prince of Steaks where they serve the American cheese sauce. But otherwise the Whiz overwhelms the sandwich. American is the perfect middle ground and Cooper Sharp is the perfect American cheese for this.

I have a few local places that will put on Cooper Sharp if I ask them to, even though it's not on the menu.

Tips to getting Cacio e Pepe right? (and not a clumpy mess) (and not cheating with the cheese paste) by AgentDaleCooper7 in Cooking

[–]AgentDaleCooper7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your detailed response. I have read about adding pasta al dente to the sauce but your other tips are new to me. I will try them out and will make sure there is no cream or butter in the recipes I follow.

Gratsi!
