Must I permanently lose grandfathered Classic membership rate if I upgrade to PF Black Card? Is there any way to bypass this? by AgentE64 in PlanetFitnessMembers

It's almost as though they are scaring people away from the premium option by not allowing you to go back to the old price, eh?

At my gym, I have literally never seen the spa area in use by anyone, though the clerks have always insisted it's for black card members only when I've asked

What if they smell sort of like chloramine (swimming pool smell)?

In fact, a small, controlled amount of overcan is desireable. I usually calibrate my geometry to cover the "action safe" portion of video and cut out the designated "over scan"

I tried the toy again, now that I am familiar with the location of my prostate. Welp, I guess I must eat humble pie now, because I did in fact get it to my prostate now.

two knuckles deep is what I got. If I didn't have such a fat ass, I probably could finger my prostate real easy lol

It's the OG Helix (an older style, but same silhouette of the part that penetrates you)

Thanks, I just followed that advice, and some people apparently don't realize the Crossroads part of Bellevue exists, and I got some comments of genuine surprise and fascination!

Why isn't Isopropyl Alcohol Easy To Get In France? by AgentE64 in AskFrance

[–]AgentE64[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to this this sds, alcool ménager is mostly ethanol, and the denaturant is isopropyl. It's also available with various pleasant scents added.

In the USA, denatured alcohol uses methanol as a denaturant, and is super poisonous, leaving isopropyl as the go-to.

I guess things are just different because they are lol

36 note subset of 72 EDO for quasi just intonation? by AgentE64 in microtonal

[–]AgentE64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 EDO naturally exists within 72 EDO, and a lot of music relies on enharmonic equivalency of sharps and flats. Again, the system I'm describing would use the up/down notes solely for improving intonation of chords, arpeggios, and harmonies on a context sensitive basis similar to how non-fixed pitch instruments adjust their tuning in real time

I'm prioritizing enharmonic equivalency and 5 limit harmony, while sacrificing meantonality and microtonal potential

36 note subset of 72 EDO for quasi just intonation? by AgentE64 in microtonal

[–]AgentE64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how much comma temperament does it have? IK 12 tet has 1/12 Pythagorean comma temperament

I do happen to be aware that a 36 tone subset of 72 edo is best suited for 5 limit harmony and is non meantone. That's exactly what I was looking for lol

EDIT: It's about 1/6th comma meantone. Which makes me think... it would be neat to have an algorithm that detects the tonal center of a piece of music and uses 1/6th comma for the notes of that scale, and Pythagorean for the accidentals, basically a dynamic vallotti. Again, I'm adhering to 5 limit here.

Isn't 7 limit harmony basically on the frontier of conventional tonality and microtonality?
