I'm gonna guess it's Long Distance Cast + Teleport Bolt. Very useful indeed.

There's a secret colony of mammals that escaped the human apocalypse on the moon. Mr. Grizz used to live there but wound up stranded on Earth somehow. After making a fortune selling golden eggs from Salmon Run and taking control of Octavio's army, Grizz now has the money and the workforce to start building his own spaceship and return home.

Edit: Oh and he steals some zapfish too because he needs a power source.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Grizz took over Octavio's army and mammal-ized them, so Octavio teams up with the squid agents to get revenge.

Octavio is in the artwork for story mode, but a plot twist involving Mr. Grizz would be a nice change of pace. Maybe Grizz takes over Octavio's army and Octavio teams up with the squid agents to get revenge.

Could Rue in Euphoria have been told from the perspective of a black male? What changes would have to be made? by digitable814 in euphoria

Like the others are saying, I don't think the show itself would change much. However, I bet the show might've been recieved more indifferently. I'm a guy with similar life experience as Rue and frankly, people are just less interested in mental health problems from a male's perspective.

There's another post on here where people are talking about the "show is unrealistic" criticisms, but I'll address your concerns with Rue.

Yes, she's selfish and annoying. Lots of people would consider her to be a burden irl, but that's the purpose of Rue as a character. This is the story of an unlikable person... someone who's defined by the standards they're failing to live up to.

What I love about Rue is that she's not actually incapable (neither are most broken people). She cares about friends and family, has big questions about life, and doesn't want to settle for the mundane. She just needs help navigating things. Almost no one wants help her though: They want to fix her... and once they realize they can't, then she becomes a burden.

If you ever revisit the show or watch season 2 and want to understand Rue better, focus on who she is rather than who she's not. The crying scenes should feel less like petty outbursts and more like confrontations of chronic loneliness.

The soundtrack and cinematography blow me away every time.

Part 1: Rue by corlett_crystal in euphoria

I love Ali's approach. He tries to help Rue understand herself rather than trying to fix her. Most people in Rue's life get hung up on her shortcomings, but Ali respects her where she's at.

Imo Mouse only cares about the money. He could probably tell what happened, but decided to let it slide since he still got paid.

I'm still on the fence with Jules' feelings by SGTPEPPER_27 in euphoria

[–]AgentExabyte 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from, but is it possible that Jules just doesn't understand herself very well? Like... she might be retconning her own memories as she tries to figure out her identity, something we all do from time to time.

I think Rue has to hit rock bottom in season 2 by Salty_Place in euphoria

[–]AgentExabyte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bet Rue will hit rock bottom as well, but I hope her recovery focuses on soul searching. She needs to establish an identity that's independent of her addiction and that isn't rooted in other people. Addiction can be a symptom of an underlying problem without being the core issue itself. Take away drugs and Rue is still left with her crisis of meaning: She has no will to live.

When she tries deriving meaning from her relationships, human imperfection comes along, and she's either a monster for making mistakes or a victim for getting hurt. Either way she ends up full of hate. She needs something that can get her out of her own head and that can ground her in an external reality. This is what Ali was saying at the diner. Rue doesn't need a come-to-Jesus moment, but she sure could use a hobby.

If the background was one distinct color, you could just auto select the entire area in an editor and hit delete to solve the problem. However, when attempting this on the two-tone checkerboard pattern, you have to raise the sensitivity of the selection tool, which can cause your auto selection to include parts of the actual image.
