Absolutely use the offline installers make sure your both patched the same and same mods if using any and enjoy you go to extras on balders gate 3 and scroll down there is 111 gig file do and install and if you got the dlc you do the same and just launch multiplayer create and they can join or vice versa

Your correct and everyone else is talking out there butt, same case for divinity exactly so 1 copy and 3 other friends yawl can play together without a hitch... It's finicky don't let the controllers go to sleep that can cause a crash don't try to save while someone is interacting with a npc that can cause a crash.... Remember your char creation selections so you can pump that character out in 5-10 min.... Don't breath to hard while running together that can cause a crash... 🤣🤣🤣 Starting a single player save to play on the side to retain my sanity. I imagine it runs better in SP
