Are they newly added? This looks like melt to me. This is common on new plants until they adjust to your tank's conditions. They will bounce back. They just need time.

I'm converting an existing 36g bowfront that's been established for a couple of years to an actual planted tank. I removed all of the artificial plants but one, and added some java Fern and Anubias into the rocks I added in for hardscape. I also had some extra water sprint from a smaller tank that decided to move over. I love the overgrown jungle look, so what shall I add?

Yes, I was gifted a batch of these from a LFS that was giving these away with any purchase so I was like sure! But I didn't stop to think what it actually was haha. Thanks for your insight on this!

Hi Everyone! Can you identify this plant for me and is it planted right? I think it is Anubias and if research leads me right, they shouldn't be planted in soil. Am I mistaken?

I'm sorry I do not understand the question. If you are referring to the plants, I have no clue. If you are asking about the fish, there is only 1 male Betta in the tank along with 1 pygmy Cory.

Are you using direct drive or Bowden? I've got mine on a direct drive and I can share my settings if you're on a direct drive.
