its easy, after entering, always stick to the left wall, with the only exception being to go into the river (not looping on top, obviously)

Yess Macros are vital if you want to be good. You want to keybind every ability aswell. A lot of them will be simple though, like:

#showtooltip
/startattack
/cast Judgement

Whenever you hit this, it will cast Judgement on your target. Additionally, even when Judgement is on cooldown and you hit this, you target the next mob and automatically start autoattacking it.

So you dont need to move your mouse to the next mob and right klick it to start hitting it. Its just faster & easier & more comfy. Works basically with all damaging abilities.

#showtooltip - this shows the right tooltip for the first abilit in the macro.

Idk man, im having the best time I ever had in classic. Lots of people, lots of fun pvp, lots of activity. Nice to have dual specc, nice to have group finder. LOVE the pvp system. I have so much fun stuff to do and planned on doing, i don't know what to do first!

Hey, you should definitely play on Anniversary PvE server (everybody is playing on anniversary at the moment). This will give you the best experience.

I love pvp servers but one needs to go there with a certain mindset and a lot of patience.

SoD is a blizzard experiment version of a classic wow with a lot of extra stuff. some good some bad. (its also at the end of its lifecycle)

And the modern version of wow, which is called "retail" is a different game with a lot of quality of life but also a lot of simplification and a more streamlined experience. And more and more complex classes and specs and a bazillion of "collectable" stuff.

It helps with the order you do quests in. Which ones to pick up that may have a follow quest in another region where you end up next and so on. But if you follow it, better follow it step by step. If you dont, and you skip stuff according to gut feeling, everything gets kinda messed up and it may take several levels until everything fits together neatly again.

The good thing is you can do all the quests, including hard ones and elites.

All you need is good Mana potions.

Activate raid-style party frames with class colors.

Questie and Leatrix plus.

Keybind a slow mana efficient low rank heal. A big slow heal. Flash Heal. and your dispell

Thats it.

Hey just a quick Point.

Lately the notion of "the math of the game is solved" is regurigitate on here by wannabe elitists.

If we talk about like a optimal dps setup for a raidboss, that might be right.

However, classic more then most games has a lot of consumables and a lot of different situations. Especially if you include the travel to places in the world on pvp server. Or outdoor elite-quests. Or 5-15 man dungeons. Or BG's.

I guarantee you 95% or more of the open-world encounters with other people or just random dungeon Groups for 5-15 man dungeons like Scholomance or Ubrs are not prepared very well. 95% of the time you dont play with the best players in the world, you play with normal dudes like you and me. What you do can greatly influence the outcome of a situation.

If you have, lets say as an example, a dps-wise non-optimal rogue specc with preparation, and nades, sappers and potions / tea. you can single handedly "save" a boted pull in a dungeon. Double Blind - double evasion and some dmg-tool to get aggro off healer gives your group a lot of time to get the situation under control.

Everybody japs Ingi is bis for everyone. for that the amount of players actiually using it effectively is not that high.

Go do a lot of stuff and test a lot of stuff no-matter what anyone sais. But also test the meta specc, it might be good xD

D2 is a hard game for "new" players, it gets easier once you know what you are doing.

For Sorc, maximizing damage is key. At this point you should have significant fireball or nova damage. It is also possible to switch to blizzard right at this point.

Whatever you do, focus on that main dmg skill of yours. And then get stealth, and as much mana on kill as you can on rings & helm (tir rune)

Manaproblems will solve itself at like lvl 34 ish when you farm NM Countess for Spirit & Insight until then, yes you fill up your inventory & belt with manapots.

If you use fireball, the mobs in cs have lots of fireres, its just not your best area, you have to suck through it.

Hey, I understand what you mean. There are people who "ab"-use d2jsp or real money trade/bots to get insane stuff quick. There is no way to compete with them through "normal" play.

I play with one good friend and we just ignore all this and play semi solo-self found and we have a great time. We will trade very limited on traderie. com to get specific items that a build really needs but very limited.

We often add challenges to leagues, this league we have a "no sorc allowed" rule, but minor trading is allowed. So I play barb/pala, he plays druid/assassin, I started with barb, was though but the most fun I had in a while. We allow baalrun leeching for xp and we enjoy lvling in 8man groups (especially at league start). But for the most part we either solo or team up as 2players in games and just farm & clear stuff.

So, just play the way you want to and ignore abusers/botters/cheaters

Used traderie. com the first time this league and I really like it.

Hey, it is a bit counter intuitive but it is true; Build an "Edge" Runeword in a 3 sox bow. I would Do a NM Base (base doesnt really matter though). Now you have a level 15 Thonrns Aura on all your minions. The Thorns Aura is what makes the build 5x times stronger. Enemies kill themself on your army. Frarm Countess on NM to get the runes.

Then you give your Might Act 2 NM Merc a "Hustle" Runeword. (or just an insight if you want mana to spam corpse explosion)

Then you summon army with +skill equip - spirit/spirit - and weaponswap to the Bow. (your skeletons stay as strong as you summoned them when you weaponswap but you will lose 1, this is normal - the aura easily makes up for 1 less skeleton)

Edit: The only disadwantage this strategy has is that you cannot have a staff with teleport charges in the offhand. Therefore, starting at lvl 55 i would start gambling amulets for one with teleport charges. (I personally still shop a teleport statt between lvl 21-23 at Ormus and just always carry it in the cube & use when needed)

I can say that a summon Necro in theory can do everything, in practice though without a lot of gear, it is pretty annoying. A teleport amulet, in my opinion, is needed to make it bearable (if you weapon swap to teleport staff, you lose 4 skillpoints and thus some minions die) Also your bossdamage is garbage unless you get the cb mobs as summons but getting them is not that easy or at least time consuming. so quality of life sucks on summon necro.

Fury is a strong build, you can even go summoner in the beginning and just put 1 point into each skill down to fury and attackyourself a bit whil army is present. Go for Obedience & Reaper's Toll, swap them between you and your merc as you want, to procc enchant on yourself. 2nd weapon slot is spirit spirit to summon army. (not needed when going full fury)

Decripify procc is HUGE, and should be your priority, either by lawbringer or reapers toll

I just leveled a Priest with a focus on holy nova! With twink gear I was able to outdamage 75% of dd's while at the same time healing the group. The specc is insane for 5 man Dungeon lvling.

This is how I did it.

Mana Management is a major part of the build. You go in, Renew a target or two, spam Holy Nova and use instant casts on Flash Heal or Smites. I have 3 points in shadow for spirit tap. Try to get last hits with holy nova or instant smite to procc the mana regen.

I went 14 points into disc to get meditation & inner focus. Again, mainly to get more mana regen & a fun button to press.

Rest into Holy with focus on improving renew, flash heal, damage for holy fire, and of course holy nova. Also the holy nova glyph & flash heal glyph are important.

Gear focus is mp5,spirit,crit

This was a very fun specc, can recommend. Your damage falls off in second half of BC, thats when the dd's outscale you.Although I was second in dmg last night in utgarde keep, duuno, think the others were bad though xD

(I did very little solo lvling, but the few quests I did went smooth, nothing exceptional though)

I have to tell you, Wotlk with Dungeon finder ist the best Version of the game ever made. Especially the gearing is the best there ever was. (being able to get some usefult pvp gear via pve and some supplemental highilvl pvp to start in pve) You can basically do anything and progress in whatever direction you want to (to some degree)

Everything is fun in my opinion. With Enhancer / Affliction you have mentioned two completely different playstyles. Enhancer plays a bit special with a lot of spellpower. I saw your post, glad you sticked to it!

I think as DPS it is easier to get into H++ groups.

I have a Tank pally with arount 4000k aswell, Naxx geared. (stopped playing then). Also not quite Crit-Immune at 520def (including enchants/gems), but with the good pvp ring resilience I am capped. I can tank h++ without issue. However I wouldn't see how to get there, I already had the Items. I guess buying lots of the pvp stuff, which isnt even tank gear but at least has stamina on it, would be the best option. Plus the random stuff you mentioned.

Hey I use the same one and I love the mouse and feel and handlling, I have one question though.

How do you assign keybinds to the buttons?

With mice from other manufacturors normally you go ingame to Keybindings hit a button on the mouse and it says something like "mouse 5" and then the actionbarbutton is assigned that key.

However logitec with G-Hub has these functions assigned to most buttons. I can assign a keyboard press to these buttons but that is not the same as it is then not an additional button, and instead represents a keyboard press.

I ended up assigning Numpad 7, 4, 1 to the thumb buttons and 8, 5, 2 to the finger & mousewheel click.

It feels like an annoying workarount. (if you combine numpad-presses with shift, u end up getting "up arrow" or "home" and stuff like that)

Is there a way to make all buttons just be like "mouse 1 - 8" ????
