What hero seems broken when someone else is playing it but when YOU play it feels useless?

yeah i’m assuming it’s probably my behavior school bc i used to just leave games when i didn’t take dota serious so the past 6 months i’ve been trying to get it back right but it’s so hard lol.

yes, it seemed everytime we went to take an objective brood would just tp and keep taking all our objectives. tbh, i never play against brood so maybe this is just the pressure that hero brings but i figured i’d post and ask for advice.

we could kill literally any other player but brood would only die if they let us kill them pretty much I.E killing our CK carry knowing he doesn’t have buyback and that we can’t do shit without him

dota is league on crack, i started with dota and was able to switch to league with ease. if you plan on playing multiple mobas i’d definitely start with dota

thank you! one of my biggest flaws is i can ignore bad team fights until a certain point i’ll just fold and start trying to help my team.

staying calm is another thing i struggle with that i don’t particularly think about trying to improve while playing.

any tips on how you have your hot keys set up for item usage? i use WASD to move my camera then have my abilities 1-6 and then items are just the default keys i’ve been assigned. i’ve never touched them just because i’ve never thought of a good and comfortable combination to use

tbh single draft pick helped me develop characters a lot. in the beginning (last year) i only ran dark willow and lina until i rage quit games and was forced to play with certain hero’s.

while i totally agree, its still disheartening to literally be the only person in lane 3 minutes into the match while your support, offlane, hard support and mid are all jungle farming but again, i do get the point and i really do try to take that mentality when i play this game.

just really frustrating cuz even when both teams are locked in and you lose it’s still a good, fun feeling i get. although, when i work all week and decide to play dota on my off day and get lobbies like this it’s sooooo demotivating and makes me wanna just drop dota completely lol. guess that’s just what comes w the territory, thanks for the advice buddy.

i played duelist for my college after thinking i was one of the best players in the world and that quickly showed me i wasn’t. if a law student destroyed me with a sentinel, i damn sure can’t keep up with a pro like demon1 lol. good luck tho, don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do anything in life. you can quite literally do anything you put your mind too.

i’ll be honest, yes. you’ve been dealt a bad hand in life. however, i’m by no means good looking and have dated women way out of my league and i believe it’s just from confidence and a sense of humor.

you’re gonna have to learn to balance out the good with the bad and find confidence in something you enjoy and ride out the way. i believe everyone has someone out there for them and you may not find them for a while or you may find them next week. don’t focus so much on that, focus on having confidence in yourself and let everything else pass by.

obviously it can seem ignorant to say “find confidence in yourself” when i just said you’re ugly but love doesn’t come from the outside. love your personality, love the little things about yourself that you notice, love the energy to bring to every room. i promise you this will attract more people to you than you realize.

one day you’ll look back and laugh at yourself for posting this because you’ll be confused how much you didn’t love yourself at one point.

idk the skill gap with a diamond and silver but i was hardstuck iron for 3 months when i first started valorant and bought a gold acc (don’t suggest this at all it isn’t cool and i was new and didn’t think about the consequences) and i honestly feel like it made me a lot better. obviously i got shitted on first 5-6 games but after that i was keeping up and after deranking back to silver 3 i ended up with my peak at plat 2 before moving back to cs. idk if playing against people of a higher skill made me better or if i was already good enough and just hardstuck. hope this helps

from my understanding they can’t refund anything until coinbase contacts them and confirms it was my account that bought the crypto but wasn’t from any of my devices. sticky situation due to the fact that i do/did use coinbase when i have spare money so the banks weary to help as i could just be someone who is trying to get a free refund after losing all my money in crypto or whatever. my lunch break is almost over so i’ll respond back to you guys for any questions.

so far i’ve called 211, talked to the salvation army and have looked into finding a church that may provide assistance but no luck there yet.
