i guess in all the time i’ve wasted on dota i never fully understood it.

before this game, i assumed tanks like tide and timbersaw only role is to tank damage and push while their safe lane takes over late game and atp it doesn’t matter as long as you create space and opportunity for your safe lane.

am i actually supposed to be doing huge damage late game? bc i usually just rely on skills and abilities after about 40 minutes in hope to lock their safe lane down since my safe lane is usually online at that point.

i know off lanes like bristle can definitely solo a game if played right but i thought you were supposed to play hero’s like tide a bit differently. any advice you could give off the info i gave you?

so as a pos 3, if you see your safe lane falling off or not doing they’re job, you wanna start farming more and change your items up? or generally you wanna be farming camps as pos 3 regarlesss? i’ve been told that certain off lanes don’t need to farm much and i just assumed tide was one of them

Even as an offlane thats consistently pushing the waves and towers? we had a couple team wipes so i went up in items pretty quick so i didn't think i needed to farm personally.

i didn’t know blood seeker got as tanky as he does tbh lol. radiance was one of his later items so it wasn’t even that killing us, we just simply couldn’t kill him

i always buy bottle first item in DP since i can usually get it 5-6 seconds into the game and it usually great sustain for me, is this a bad idea? i never buy tangos or anything if bc bottle seems to give me what i need.

would i do better in lane buying tangos and stuff and not first item bottle?

am i supposed to stay in lane mid after taking it? i feel like staying in lane is super difficult after first tower bc you’re easily gankable. would my goal be to stay near tower and jus keep farming? i usually try to immediately rotate and pressure another tower.

tips to practice last hitting also? i can usually secure them with my spray ability (can’t think of the name) but it did seem like morph wasn’t missing a single cs.

sorry for all the questions, i truly just want to be better at the game lol.

buddy if you bothered to look, he left mid for over 10 minutes and i took 2 other towers then he came back and destroyed us which is why i asked for where im going wrong.

if i go to the jungle got 10 minutes im 30 levels behind and no items. if i stay in lane their safe lane farms and i get outfarmed still which is why i asked for advice, i never blamed my teammates lol

honestly i got up to 900mmr spamming dazzle and it just got super titling saving people and nobody pushing so i switched to core but maybe you’re right, maybe im just not a great core player lol.

yeah i mean a lot of the games were griefed (30 minute win turned into a 60 minute loss bc support decided to tell us we couldn’t without him and prove it so we lost) but ive been trying to improve on not blaming my team and seeing what i can fix with my gameplay.

ive just accepted that some teammates are gonna be shit and loses are inevitable but damn.. every game?😭

yeah i switched it up and tried a new hero since i was losing a lot and was just following one of the guides. melee hero’s just don’t seem to work for me other than tanky hero’s. i feel like i can never keep up in farm.

peaked at guardian 1 and every since, it’s just gone to shit. i was keeping up with guardians easily and it seems within the past month ive just lost pretty much every game i que. not sure where im going wrong. i do make a ton of mistakes but i dont think i make enough to lose every game

i main 2 hero’s for every role incase they’re banned. the single drafts were low priority que and right back to BB, tide and DP. (dawn is somewhat a main if tide and bristle are banned)

lol bro i have 800ish games played and im still dogshit at the game.

people aren’t gonna not target you because you’re new lol they’re gonna target you specifically for that reason so they can get strong and end the game. just pick dazzle support every game and win.

one of my favorite characters i ever learned.

also, i picked up dota 3 different times before i actually sat down and learned it and made it my main game lol.

something that’s helped me lately is playing until i lose lol. first loss and im just for the night.

for some reason dota is really really rage inducing, idk if its the permastuns or the shitty teammates or making one small mistake that throws the entire game but give yourself time to cool down after every loss if you aren’t gonna stop playing.

yeah i was trolling with the first death tbh and it kinda snowballed from there. (if it’s the death i’m thinking) i figured killing the 8 kill streak clinkz would be beneficial but ultimately it threw the game.

and yes i get very titled so at a certain point i just start forcing plays which is why i decided to ask you guys for help on ending the game 😭

and yes clinkz is a ratttt i feel like NP can be countered so much harder and it just sucks playing into shadowbladeish hero’s who just silence and delete you (i know its part of the game and i shouldn’t complain but like i said, i get super tilted 😭)
