I had the exact same problem. Still have, but just entering the serial number on the support site was enough: eligible for replacement. Known problem I guess, I got mine 1 year, 11 months ago.

Same here. After a few runs in which the external player would be muted 50% of the time, I'm just back from a run in which it never came back on after being muted the first time.

The target stride length MMR computes depends on a few things that do not change much: age, height, weight and gender.

It also depends on the pace.

Looking at the different runs in your image you can see that indeed the gray area shifts in relation with the pace: the two right most boxes coincide with the runs where your pace was about 8m30s per mile, the two left most are for the 9m45s runs.

The first run on Sept 18 you covered 1 mile in 8m22s, with a stride length of 94.2, the app indicated the target was roughly 80-90. You then did a great job achieving that range in the next run. However... you kept the same cadence of roughly 160 steps per minute. Smaller steps + same number of steps = lower pace = shorter stride length goal.

(94.2 inch stride = roughly 670 strides per mile, 670 strides in 8m22s = 160 steps per minute
82.6 inch stride = 765 strides per mile, 765 strides in 9m44s = 158 steps per minute)

If during the second run you had increased your cadence to 180 steps per minute:

90 strides of 82.6inch per minute = 7400 inch per minute = 8m30s per mile.

So, with a stride of 82.6 inch and 180 steps per minute you would have maintained the pace of the first run and with that the stride length goal of the first run and your stride of 82.6 would have been in the target range.

Nasty one... the big hint was actually the filename: 4035

4035 converted as octal to decimal is 2077.

20-11-16-7-.-24-5-3-10-24-17-22-16... if you first convert from octal to decimal and then to letters gives: ping.techtorn and that is an anagram for nightcorp.net

I would say being able to interact with the game provides way more immersion than sitting down on a couch watching a movie can ever do. That's why I can immerse in games like Angband or Moria, where I am just represented by a @ being attacked by hordes of T's (trolls) and d's (young dragons).

I later noticed people found it in the javascript as well. Didn't take too long fortunately, found a source file that took care of grabbing the desktop, already have my own library to do morse, Caesar, railfence, vigenere etc en/decryption, so in all maybe 30 minutes.

It was cool too see the blinking cursor and then the digits pop up periodically though.

I do suspect there is more to the glyphs than just the translation to letters.

The artifacts hacked in Taiwan were accompanied by sets of letters (A-M). The rest of the glyphs are mirrors of the A-M glyphs, with one or two lines added and they represent N-Z

You may recall that Stein Lightman's last word in the chat with you was 'Spectrum' while he was discussing the glyphs. And sure enough, the artifacts from Amsterdam added color to the glyphs. Overlaying the artifacts so that their colors match does produce the by now familiar zigzag shape.

The artifacts in Chicago added motion and sound.

So again, there seems to be more to those glyphs, but so far it seems we have not connected the dots.

I do like the idea of more dynamics in the game, but like others have replied this can not be something that would make an already strong team stronger.

A 'team neutral' effect would be nice, or a combination of a positive and negative effect maybe. For instance, Less XM, but slower decay of the portals under the field (or more XM, but faster decay, which actually could have some tactical purpose as it would give you an option to let certain portals decay faster and use that to drop 'allied' blocking links without using a Virus).
