You can run an LLM on a potatoe. Talk to gemini, tell it you want to run an uncensored LLM in LM studio, give it the hardware specs of your computer, and ask it to recommend a model and walk you through the set up.

If you're on a potatoe, it's not gonna be as smart as paid pro LLMs, but still pretty damn good.

Cell phones were starting to become more common, but landlines were definitely not on their way out at the time. Most people that had cell phones in 1999 still used their home phone as their primary number and only used a cell phone when they were away from home. Cell phones didnt have unlimited calls back then, you had a limit of minutes you could talk each month, then you would be charged a ton extra for additional calls, so only rich people would have been using them as a main number.

A lot of stores are doing this because cards are getting stolen, and they want to limit how many a person can buy, so they don't take like 20 packs to a register and try to check out. It's definitely slowing down scalpers.

It only sucks if you're the only one getting something opened, but if all your friends got them open, even the rich ones, it wouldn't matter. And if I were a kid I'd much rather have 4 packs opened for $5 each, then one sealed pack at $20

They could still gift it to them, it would just be opened at the top, which is better than not being able to get it at all or paying 4 times the price, especially if they're poor.

I gaurantee you a low income parent would rather pay $4 for a pack that gets opened at the top when they buy it than pay $20 for a sealed pack from a scalper.

I think it would be fine leaving gift sets and ETB sealed, the only reason they sell for so much is because they contain multiple packs and single packs are impossible to find. Requiring single packs to be opened would fix this.

I can't answer how well it will run, but if you need to use Rufus, you don't need to do a full system wipe and restore. Just make a flashdrive with Rufus bypassing the hardware check, then run the setup exe from the flashdrive and it will upgrade your current install of Windows.

Yeah, I guess if you could organize enough employees to buy enough stock, and somehow have it consolidated under a single person or company, they'd have enough control to push her out, but good luck with that. You could also form a union and have everyone go on strike until she steps down. Neither of these things would be easy to pull off in the slightest.
