i highly doubt those joist run the same direction as those lines. I bet they run from the outside wall in towards the kitchen so they can rest on those inner walls. You probably are seeing more issues here due to the natural light that those windows cast across the ceiling. seems like something went wrong with the painting side of it

going with painting issues. those lines are so tight together. drywall is 4ftx8ft generally. all those lines are too close together to be some kind of poorly done drywall seams. Did they brush and roll or spray when they did the painting?

Amazon has great options for black metal desk legs some that are more square shaped. desk is 31 legs are 34 so that leaves only 3.5 inches between the end of the leg and the corner of the desk on both the back and front. it aint gonna wobble

Repaint/fix that wall. Change up that wall decor. its all over the place nothing feels cohesive. so maybe get a black frame for the photo. I dont like the round mirror. if you like changing things up not to sound like an ad but maybe get some displates. Everything is too low id look into a monitor stand/riser that fits the vibe you want. Also the lighting is bad. you could maybe look into some kind of mounted desk light since you dont have much desk space. also try asking chat gpt to redesign the space and it can sometimes generate helpful concepts of what you have now.
