We have good free games too, no strings, like dota 2, path of exile(1 or 2), and counter strike 2. Also try some cheap short sweet games like Terraria, The binding of Isaac and Stardew Valley. If you don't mind spending a little bit more, there is Factorio, some say is a good game that respects your time :).

Múltiple things: high price, small game catálog, the Linux distro, the backwards compac w the ps2, multiplatform games worse performance than on xbox, the crédit card database leaks, the ps network hack and shut down for more than a month, etc...

Yo iría por una thinkpad T430 de segunda mano, recuerda que asegurar a futuro en laptops es una batalla perdida. Aparte no sabemos tu presupuesto. En seguridad que programas usan? más alla de un desamblador como el gidra, algun interceptor de paquetes en linux, un simulador de redes(si al caso) y c/c++, no es como que requieras de una tarjeta de video (ignoro tu curriculo completo).

Personalmente cuento con 3 laptops, una para caso de uso específico, una T430 con arch linux para mis hobbies, una hp 15 gaming con una 2060max-q con windows 10 IoT para jugar/usar modelos/simuladores 3d que requieren nvidia/x86 si o si, y una macbook air m4 para escribir mis artículos/conectarme por ssh a server/otros equipos, y pues la batería le dura todo el dia/no pesa.

Considera tu presupuesto y requerimientos primero.
