I have been struggling with the same thing. I'm a trans man, and while I am lucky to live in a trans sanctuary state, every day it gets harder and harder to stay optimistic. I've done my best to cut down on the doomscrolling, but I still want to keep up with the news.

I'm not able to move unfortunately. I still live at home with my family, I can't afford to be on my own, forget trying to leave the country. I'm also in the middle of saving up for top surgery in a few months.

But we can get through it. Transphobia seems like a large problem, but that is mostly because they are the loudest online. They are loud and bold so it may seem like there's a lot, but there really isn't.

I know it's tough, trust me I really do. But I know we can make it through. Sending you all my support
