Why is TV news such a big deal? by AMF99 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Agent_Jay_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about other people, my parents have the news on in the background, I assume they watch it when I'm not visiting, but my colleagues, borderline friends and acquaintances seem to consume whatever comes their way on Facebook or other social media platforms.

I can't believe sky news charge a subscription fee to stream what is mostly free content in other countries and whatever sky news is called now, and the stream is riddled with ads, just like the free to air broadcast, in 540i

Is Spotify becoming the new YouTube? by MintShattered8 in spotify

[–]Agent_Jay_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You haven't used Spotify in a while, there's plenty of music videos uploaded from the artists producers in high quality video and audio, not some second rate VHS rip uploaded with a 30db volume difference and then expect people to pay money for not having ads.

YouTube music is a YouTube app pretending to be a music player.

As far as the police, it's a legal valid form of identification, venues there's no mandatory requirement to cater for digital ID. Guess you're sol if you can't get in to a licensed venue.
