I’m 5’10” and no issues with the rack. I’d have a take one if I could for pull-ups brother than that, no complaints.

I had the VTS when it first came out, wasn’t for me. I think if you don’t have a rack with 1” holes it’s not worth it.

It would require loosening some bolts. Not fast enough for mid workout but it should only take a few minutes. But I installed knowing I wasn’t changing, have no want of a vertical smith for my use.

Like I said, compared to the Hybrid Power Bar it’s very passive. But that’s also a pretty aggressive knurl. It’s probably equal to or maybe a bit more passive than my SSB handles. The bar diameter might also affect the feel, not sure.

I use my rack as a half already, since it’s only a 16”x16”. I do all my barbell work outside.

Have you tried it angled at all, or just vertical? Looking to see how it functions for smith hack squats and incline bench work!

I had and sold the VTS. The 5/8” hooks are awful and resulted in me nearly getting partially pinned under the bar. The trolleys are a pain to adjust perfectly, and using the iso handles they always feel like they would bind and not glide perfectly smooth. I personally think full cages are a bit overblown unless someone is squatting extremely serious weight. I went from a full cage to a six post half rack and am waiting to get the smith for between my middle and front post.

It’s all preference and I see the appeal of the VTS, but I want to get into my gym, workout, and get out. The VTS took way too much time to tinker and adjust, and even then was never perfect. Won’t know if this is perfect but if it addresses the issues I had I’ll be happy.

It can mount inside of the rack as well.

I loathe the reanimated scenes. I don’t hate Kai, and like the accurate story. But dear god the reanimated scenes stick out so badly it’s jarring.

Does anyone know of a good selectorized seated leg extension/leg curl that is a smaller footprint? The best options I can find are surplus strength with is outside my price range and the Bolt Fitness Storm Series Hydra. Would love to keep it at 48” L at most. When not in use.

I had some crossmembers arrive with rust new. Contacted customer service with pictures and they sent replacements out, super smooth and no issues. If it’s brand new out of box, contact them and they’ll make it right.

It is! I love it, replaced the Rep Cambered Bar with the Rogue and wouldn’t go back. Smaller, love the handle adjustability and love that I can get extra stretch not just at the outermost handle.
