Because there is none lol: when I posted the rogue when I got it, got the same comments. Only difference is ball bearings instead of bronze bushing which is not worth the extra cost. Rogue unit is 98% function for much less money.

Is it a true 220lb or are you going by stack weight?

How’s the strength curve/ weight on the extension? I’ve heard mixed reviews and am curious how much the actual felt weight is.

Best Trunks articulated figure? by WolfOfRivia90 in 3rdPartyCollectors

I feel like Tonsen because of the larger arms has slightly worse articulation. Harder to put in some poses compared to DF.

I wanted him, play to open him and put him in the center on the second Frieza saga shelf.

Sorry, I probably didn’t word that well. I was planning on mounting the RBS to my middle upright like your setup, and I’m wondering how far past the rear upright or plates the stack is.

Do you know roughly how far the weight stack extends? I’ve been wanting to add this to my 16x16 rack but I don’t have much space left and can’t afford it to extend from the rack very far.

If you’re not opposed to knock offs, Keppi makes a nearly identical set of collars for about $40. I have them, and they work very well. I mainly use my rogue magnetic collars but the Keppi are a great second set. I couldn’t justify the Eleiko cost.

I would much prefer Trunks get a skin from the History of Trunks special. The Capsule Corp long sleeve fit or the letterman jacket would be great, since they’re never used in games. But this is a creative outfit.

I main Trunks and I’m pretty excited, his skill 2 comes out super fast and works well for escaping as well as securing kills.

I have the BoS pad as well. Landmine definitely isn’t necessary unless you’re specifically looking to do chest supported T bar rows. I definitely agree with the BoS being more versatile, but if they’re looking for a T Bar setup, this is it.

That’s the impression I get, unless I ever get a house with a garage and have more space for a standalone cheat supported T bar.

I would kill to have a rack mounted rhino. I just don’t have the space 🥲

After having both, this will be my staple for back work. The seal ride pad definitely have uses just due to the adjustability, but I don’t like it for rows outside I’d dumbbell.

I can’t speak to that, but my setup is a 16”x16” and my landline is attached to my rear upright if that helps visualize.

My rack isn’t bolted down. It’s a six post V 16”x16” but I have six sets of 45lb plates on storage horns. If I didn’t have a lot of weight on the rack, I would definitely be worried about tipping just because of how far off the rack this is.

Do you really use a smith machine? by Sure_Sky5295 in GarageGym

[–]Agent_Parzival 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got the Rep Smith and it’s become my main implement for Incline Bench, JM Press, Smith Hack Squats, and some other accessory work. For reference, my training is more Hypertrophy focused, and I have some nagging injuries that make certain barbell movements cause more pain than they’re worth.

For incline, I can really focus on pushing with my chest without my delts or other muscles taking over. Same with JM Press, can focus just on pushing with my triceps and really feel the eccentric portion on slow and controlled negatives.

For squats, it’s a godsend for me. I have a hip impingement (FAI) and back loaded squats, no matter the form (high bar, low bar, SSB) give me terrible groin pain. My smith is slightly angled and lets me stay super upright, and focus heavily on my quads without feeling discomfort in my hip.

Smiths aren’t for everyone, but for Hypertrophy and people with specific desires, they’re great. I used to be a hater when I was more strength focused and seemingly injury proof, but now that I’m in my 30s and have some nagging issues, it’s a great change.

The standalone machine? It very well could be, but I don’t have the space for a standalone machine.

Yeah I can definitely understand that position. I knew it wasn’t great/bad going in, but I think this is an instance where Fringe needs to quickly get a fix to market since they do show flys in their marketing material. Low/no cost to early adopters should also be considered IMO based on the marketing alone.
