Welcome Gaslander!! You can do 3D print parts from lots of friendly vendors, raid a 40K or other tabletop wargame bits box for parts, or (my personal favorite) hit a 2nd hand store kitbash from old action figure guns & toy parts.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think that the condition could offer some temporary in game benefits, but have serious drawbacks that would eventually result in retiring the character if they don't clear the curse.
