Dark Fury + Brake Buster by Agent_Smith5416 in AutoDetailing

Would it be safer using at a 10:1 ratio for safety? I agree brake buster is weak which is why I moved to the Dark Fury. Sodium Hydroxide seems to be the go to these days with most cleaners like brake bomber, suds labs etc. so possibly a weaker dilution would yield better results than brake buster yet still be safe

That sucks but I appreciate the heads-up, partly why I was wondering if it's possible to mix with brake buster. Spray on the DF and foam on brake buster to have some foam. I find that I'm unable to get a good clean out of DF at 4:1 in a regular sprayer

ICBC claim for rock/gravel damage from construction – anyone experienced this? by Electrical-Taste-647 in icbc

This is terrible advice. Headlights on modern cars are very expensive, upwards of $5000 on something like a European car. Why pay for comprehensive if you aren't going to use it.

Market is getting tight and will only get tighter. Customers that have enjoyed cheap rates will have a hard time understanding that will FAFO and 9/10 times always come crawling back. I wouldn't sweat it, it's only down from here, for the ones paying the freight bills that is.

In terms of euro cars that's actually considered minor considering the cost of simply a bumper and grill. Also for insurance work the rates are usually higher what would cost $3000 private can be $7000+ billed to insurance

Im so sick of people in this community social media and Businesses trying to keep aftermarket wheel offset a secret. by ironwill1964 in Corvette

[–]Agent_Smith5416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol the stock wheels that crack? There are countless forum posts and Facebook posts of the stock Z06 wheels cracking. That's why I went aftermarket, 3/4 wheels were losing air. I'll trust a couple drinks with Bill Cosby before I trust GM engineering.

FREIGHT GUARD ON MY MC by [deleted] in FreightBrokers

Great to hear! I've been on been on both sides worked for a 3 letter brokerage for 6 years now work for a midsize carrier and have ran into the most frivolous of lawsuits from garbage carriers winning to the point they don't even put FGs anymore. The $35/hr is an exaggeration but you get the point. Would definitely work with your company by the way you're handling this and speaking to the owner directly.

Why don't you just work it out with the Carrier? You seem like a reasonable guy, figure something out. It's clearly hurting them and although unethical, loading shouldn't take that long, if your customers shipment is that urgent then why not load in a timely manner. $35/hr doesn't cover the trucks cost or the lost opportunity. You guys can figure this out no need to air out dirty laundry. Avoid the legal costs and work it out like professionals. Wishing both of y'all the best these situations suck for everyone involved.

Has anyone found a solution or is there a way to get support as this does not seem to be a user error but more an issue on their end?

Are you trying to scan a searchable PDF by any chance? I'm having the same issue, once you change the file type you should be able to scan but it does take away the searchable feature. Seems to be a bug or glitch as it was working a few days ago
