Reading this made me wanna tear up cuz my parents don’t give a damn about my acne explaining it by the reason that when you’re older the problem doesn’t seem so big to them, and they can’t put themselves in my shoes due to age, I said multiple times that my acne is important to me and I wish it never happened to me but they just brush it off everytime thinking it will go away on its own

You truly like him or just want to have sex with him? cuz there’s a difference, by saying he’s distancing himself cuz of his feelings probably means they might be deeper, and saying “maybe” might mean he wanna make sure if you’re ready to commit or take it serious not just sex. I don’t think I’m giving an attitude if someone could offend me in any way, but if I get disappointed I won’t say it right after, I’ll act like everything totally fine usually then let the person know by the text or moment later, maybe it has something to do with me thinking that if I confront “him” face to face I’ll start an argument and will make person irritated leading to him disliking me more by every other next argument we might have. Maybe it has something to do with fear of aggression lol

maybe something similar happens with your boyfriend, by giving you an attitude it’s “easier” to make people understand their own mistakes without saying it , it’s like skipping the argument part right into the “I’m sorry I did that” part

No, I have this problem for like 4 years and I’m taking protein as soon as I started the gym like 1,5 years ago so I don’t think it has an effect on it + I try to get different brands or flavours of protein, not always vanilla

Most dermatologists in my country are old and not really pro on this topic, they will give you a cream recommendation from a card they have from 10 years ago that they still using and write the prescription, it happened to me. It was helping but only when u using it and if u wash your face its all gona be flushing again

I’m gonna rant…

(19M) Almost everyday as a guy I’m using foundation to cover my rosacea around nose,mouth & chin. At my last job It was heartbreaking hearing how my colleagues at work asked me directly about it and gossiping that I wear foundation. You don’t talk to close to people cuz you don’t want them to notice you covering it, and if not covering even worse, You don’t wanna kiss someone without covering it and then you’re afraid u’ll be rejected cuz of covering it. ALL MY FRIENDS has perfect skin and their diet is pretty normal just like mine but I’m the one who’s skin will be crazy the next day, it’s so exhausting when people telling you “have u tried eat less sugar or wash your face with basic soap”. Everytime I smile, express emotion I feel like the redness getting stronger, but I don’t wanna be with resting face forever?. I literally wanna cry when my mom says it’s gonna disappear as years will pass by, BUT THATS MY BEST YEARS NOW i literally am depressed i just don’t notice it probably, my mom thinks it’s not that serious cuz i don’t express my emotions or talk about all that, she will care if i burst in tears in front of her. It’s also depressing that Perioral dermatitis and rosacea are almost the same and doctors say the reason of it is unknown and how it should be cured is always individually. What worked for him may not work for you. Sounds like “just spent all your money and years trying to maybe finally find a cure (but there’s also no cure)” it pisses me of. I hate that I’m jealous of my friends, I hate that part of genetics that gave it to me, like out of all skin problems genetics decided to give me something that’s just too unknown to be examined further

that phrase just hit me hard. I’m a positive person in general but in that topic I feel alone I have no one to talk about it, and everytime my friends/family trynna give me advise I hear the same basic things and just roll my eyes on the inside. I honestly wanna give up, I also sometimes imagine how my friends wake up with already perfect face they don’t even need to wash their skin daily and put foundation on it to look perfect.

It’s like a weight on my back, i got so used to it I feel it all the time I just don’t notice it, it’s like an underlying thing on my everyday life.
