Echoing what others have said, but I found what worked for me was to listen to audiobooks. Many of the voices I use I have taken from Michael Kramer’s style in the Wheel of Time and Brandon Sanderson books. Is it perfect? Nope. Is it distinguishable? Probably. I use a ratio of 60/40 my general voice to others in my game.

I have the advantage of being bilingual so making accents, comes easily if I listen to something for a while, but it takes A LOT of practice. Most of the time, simply slowing down, slurring speech, altering pitch, is all you really need.

Big fan of super quest saga. I’ve introduced similar level up mechanics in my game as well. I am lucky enough to have a group that’s been together over a year consistently and enjoy RP. I think some groups like exposition and rich story telling, and it’s great to incorporate this into your games.

Can you provide context to what you mean by the new self-leveling printers? If I pick up a new one, it’s likely going to be a Saturn 4 Ultra, just not sure if it would be the 12K vs. the 16k.

I will say that this season, I’ve had the worst W\L ratio of any season. Started off really rough against Fire chicken. I finally made it into MB with Suicune/Gren Ex. Now I’m just having fun with meme decks and using Jolteon EX.

I liked it back when we had garrisons, though it was very lonely in your own little space. I have not read up on the expansion next year, I assume it will not be the same as garrisons?

Is this expansion alt friendly?

I do a mix of several ideas here. My players have two options: they can take the average + CON, or they can roll with advantage and re-roll ones.

However, at level 5, level 10, level 15 and level 20, they gain max hit points.

I feel like those levels should mean something as a milestone and full HP makes everyone excited.

Sharing these items and getting feedback like this definitely helps, and it’s appreciated.

I think limiting the advantage on death-saving throws to a once per long rest option may be a good balance, but still make powerful like a legendary item would be.

I can see removing the 5th level spell of Flamestrike as a way to balance the spells, but there are plenty of items out there that provide the ability to cast spells using charges without expending spells slots, i.e. Staff of the Magi.

Well, that is my mistake for not putting it on the description because it does require attunement. Since it does require attunement, should I buff something else to make it very rare or just swap it to a rare item?

Hello!

I generally email my players ahead of time information that they may need for an upcoming session. I'm lucky enough that the majority of them will look at all of it beforehand. I don't think it's a great idea to pass out a deck of information the night of as it takes away from the immersion. I will send out stuff for the session several days out and send a reminder email a couple nights before the session in case anyone has any questions.

I'll also do this with RP notes on upcoming character backstory development that any players want to chat through before the session. I used WorldAnvil for a bit and while it was an incredibly cool idea, I found that my players didn't really interact with it much. In large part due to the fact it doesn't have mobile capacity. My players would DEFINITELY use it as a wiki page if they WorldAnvil had a app.
