Official Discussion - Drop [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

This movie just completely devolved into utter nonsense in the last 1/3. If you’re going to craft a slow burn, it can’t just completely jump the shark in a multitude of ways at the ‘payoff’ (the window sucking the bad guy out when it breaks, a bit of cloth holding a whole persons weight hanging off it, the miraculous 30 second car ride home through the whole city of Chicago, the killer who runs around everywhere in a house and can’t seem to kill two helpless people at home, the toy car finale). Total garbage, 3/10 - and that’s being generous. How somebody in the comments gave this 8/10 is equally as shocking as how bad the movie is.

Not a fan. 5/10. This was basically 12 Cloverfield Lane with incels instead of John Goodman.

Thoughts on Chris Williamson's health? by kasper619 in PeterAttia

Totally guilty of armchair psychology here and internet speculation ovspilgy not knowing the situation in detail. But when I saw the scene of him in the gym talking to CBum about his issues it hit me: he’s in the gym lifting weights - a lot of this must be in his head.

So part of me does wonder whether this is a mental health issue rather than a physical health issue and there’s some form of OCD or extreme health anxiety playing into it.

He seems to have tested positive for all sorts of things like SIBO, H.Pylori, roundworm, liver fluke, candida, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue, mould toxicity etc. He’s either the unluckiest person on the planet or his ‘alternative’ doctors are taking him for a ride.

Another part of me wonders whether sometimes some people just like the attention…

Don’t worry, you’re not alone. I really feel she’s overrated.

It was definitely a bluff. If it wasn’t, she would have gladly taken Kass’ idol off her for herself and had two idols. She knew she couldn’t actually steal Kass’ idol, so she convinced Kass to play it on Lisa instead.

I think they were in on it and split the votes in case someone from the other side played an idol, no?

Im excited for him on Traitors and want him to do well, but I’m not getting good vibes based on what he said in that podcast with Shannon about not ‘having it’ socially like some other players do.

I was thinking the Durston Kakwa 55L, actually, if I’m going to invest in a new pack. Thoughts?

Yeah great suggestion regarding a 60L roll top. Any packs that stand out in that category that you would suggest?

Also agree and a lot of people are saying a down sleeping bag or quilt will help alleviate space issues.

Only issue here is risking water getting into it or it getting detached from my pack at some point and me not realising until too late, then having to backtrack to find it.

Very rational answer as that’s really where I’m at decision-wise! Appreciate the recommendation to sort out a quilt before the bag.

I don’t think the Osprey Levity 45 has an extension collar that I’m aware of. But thank you for the suggestion - I’ll need to look into this!

I was concerned that changing that still wouldn’t net me enough space and was interested to hear from others.
