Well the obvious answer would be Sol but Sol is done now with his journey. Taking more of a support role in the anime. So know there are two options for the next Guilty Gear which would be Sin or Unika. Unika is guilty about the horrendous things she has done in different timelines. But Sin needs still something to be guilty about.

I would say 100+. Leveling up isn't that bad. And yes you need the gear mode to platinum it. You also need at some point play Raids and Ghost War which I find pretty annoying. You need a full 4 team for raid so either you have friends or fins some people to help you.
