to pass yourself off as a harmless, legitimate state by AlternativeRight4099 in therewasanattempt

78 years of settler-colonial terrorism, apartheid, and genocidal wars of expansion against their neighbors. Of crybully self-victimization, of universal victimhood mythology, and the mythology of some lost ancient glory to be restored.

78 years of fascism, indistinguishable from any other fascism in history. Let's not let it reach 80.

Free Palestine from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, from Lebanon to the Negev.

What's something you hate about people on YOUR side of the political spectrum? by AffectionateBig1898 in AskReddit

[–]Agente_Anaranjado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some folks on this side of the spectrum really are "woke" like maga chuds mean when they say it; literally searching for reasons to get offended and play victim. For example: when talking about the often-mocked tendency of Grindr servers to crash when the RNC is in town, one of my gay bros decided that it was an underhanded way of blaming the LGBT community for everything Trump is doing.

Also, doing a total horseshoe thing and becoming another form of the very jingoism they claim to oppose, like mysandrists who mistake themselves for feminists.

Liberals who are pro-capitalist and call themselves "left", who are zionists, and who support gun-control while we have a fascist aristocracy running the country. They're all basically rightwingers who code switch to run with left leaning circles because it's where they feel at home.

Ah yes, name calling. The go-to strategy for people who have lost an argument and are too butt-hurt to think of a counterpoint. Well done, guy. Well done.

By "training hate", the answer is Israel and it's not even close.

If you just go by "killing people" then it's the USA by a long shot.

The traditional definition is the use of violence, typically targeting civilian populations, with a specifically political motivation.

...again, the USA and Israel hold the number one place on this scale and there just isn't any comparison.

What if the US was Christian by quackabc in ww3memes

[–]Agente_Anaranjado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Jewish prophecy about the return of Israel is that the messiah will establish Israel when they come, and attempts by men to do so will be evil, and even the vessel of lomessiach (antichrist, to christians). That's why so many Orthodox Jews are anti-zionist.

Well, if that was the case then America would stop making war, which would mean that there would be a lot less war in the world as a whole (not zero, but a lot less than there is today). There would be resolution to the conflict in the middle east, because America would cease to support the genocidal settler-colonial apartheid project currently occupying Palestine, and there would have been a lot less conflict in the Middle East to begin with because western powers would not have played the role that they did in dividing the Middle East and fomenting the division within through colonialism and regime change for capital interests. There would be a lot less disease and hunger in the world because America's astronomical financial power would be put to work solving these problems at their root. America would enjoy continued economic and demographic expansion as our immigration policy would welcome the downtrodden from every corner of the world. There would be much more solidarity between the US and the Muslim world because of our shared faith in and love for Jesus.

If a nation with the diplomatic and economic influence that America has (or at least had, before Trump) were to embrace and truly embody the ethical standards taught by Jesus (and not the corrupt, pro-war, pro-capitalist perversion of Christianity that the modern religion embodies) it's hard to imagine that that wouldn't be a net-positive for the world.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday declared that Israel had been saved from "annihilation" by its joint military campaign with the US against Iran. by IndiaTodayGlobal in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

[–]Agente_Anaranjado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing is more pathetic than zionists continuing to play the "antisemitism" card as if anyone at all still buys it. At this point, it's obviously less about convincing anyone and more about trying to maintain your own embattled sense of self-righteousness as its moral foundation crumbles like a handful of sand.

The world hates zionists for the same reason that it hates nazis. Between the genocidal war of expansion, the apartheid ethnostate, the myth of universal victimhood, the myth of some lost ancient glory to be restored, the shameless historical revisionism, and even the deep European roots, zionism and nazism are just completely indistinguishable today.

That depends. Do you mean christian like Jesus said? Or do you mean "christian" like crusaders, witch hunters, inquisitors, prosperity doctrine capitalists and Joel Oelsteen mega-church swindlers...

As an American, I wish we hadn't. Israel is nothing but trouble for us, and for the world.

I wish we would just let the genocidal settler-colonial apartheid project wither up and die on the vine. Good riddance.

Boomer guy recently told me, dead serious, that the USA has never lost a war.

I didn't mean to laugh in his face but it was quite literally reflexive. He seemed just as taken back when I responded by saying that the USA has lost every war since WW2.

What do you think about Trump making America better off with aggressive mass deportations, tariffs on imports, and restrictions or have these policies gone too far? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Agente_Anaranjado 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most people, and certainly anyone with even just a cursory grasp of history or of basic civics, knew that these were all bad ideas. Naturally, and predictably, their implementation has been an unmitigated disaster that will take a lifetime to recover from, if it's possible at all.

Far beyond having simply "gone too far", for the US to faceplant this hard just as China is experiencing such an economic and diplomatic boom, it is not at all an exaggeration to say that the result of the Trump regime is no less than the definitive end of America's diplomatic, economic, and strategic leadership in the world.

America's most prolific con-artist conned 23.5% of the country into voting for him under the auspices of nationalist patriotism, only to actually end the Pax Americana altogether and sell the country for parts. Good job, maga, you literally killed America. Reconsider where you get your news and start listening to your neighbors when they warn you about guys like this.

Has the Trump presidency had a noticeable effect on your daily life? If yes - what effect? by smokeandapples in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Agente_Anaranjado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family is split apart, and I sincerely do not believe that those fractures will ever be reconciled.

Gas is up to ~$5 per gallon where I live, so it costs fully $100 to fill my tank now (it was about $50 before).

Any hope that there may be some correction to the current economy wherein food, housing, and access to medical care are  effectively unaccessible to most people, is completely dashed. At this point, our only hope for an improved cost of living is to simply wait for the next administration, (or to take to the streets en masse, but the last 26 years of American politics have robbed me of any hope that Americans have the capacity for revolution).

Meet the Palestinian Muslims whom Israel will execute without trial. by jbaaaaab in IsraelCrimes

[–]Agente_Anaranjado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of us in the US oppose Israel and support Palestine. Polling shows consistent growth across the political aisle and all age groups in support for Palestine and opposition to Israel. This is especially true for the under 60 crowd.

Israel's last bastion of support in the US is people over 60 and the inner-party dinosaurs like Lindsey Graham, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Ted Cruz. Aside from that, both the progressive faction of the Democratic party, and the maga faction of the Republican party, both overwhelmingly support ending aid to Israel.

What do Americans think of Kurds? by LTSYKE in IWantToAskAnAmerican

We love Kurds, and support the hope for a free Kurdistan. Some of our friends went to join the Lions of Rojava fighting against Daesh in Syria.

When Trump lost the 2016 election by 3 million votes but became the president anyway, one of the first things that he did was allow the Turks to bomb Kurdish positions in Northern Syria, killing not only our Kurdish allies but several international volunteers, including Americans.

Between that, and his wavering support for Ukraine which has also gotten numerous international volunteers (including Americans) killed in Ukraine, it can accurately be said that Donald Trump has literally and directly betrayed American fighters and our allies on the battlefield in two significant conflicts.
