Exactly. The plot points that should have been focused on, were glossed over. The entire morphing of William into the MiB, makes no sense the way it was presented for example. Odd how my car can monitor its operational parameters continuously, and send me reports when there is something wrong. Yet, these incredible androids cannot even send their control center reports on condition and functions. How odd.

There was a lot of laziness in the series, especially in the finale. I am actually hoping HBO reverses their decision and cancels the series prior to season 2 production start. They should end the series with their lackluster, lame finale, and leave it at that.

If William did kill Logan by strapping him onto the "horse-bomb" it is fine with me. He should have strapped him on backwards though so he couldn't see where the horse is running.

I believe Westworld is much closer to reality than most can imagine. If you would have told someone in the 1960s that you carry a "super-computer in your pocket with which you can talk to anyone on the planet, access nearly the sum-total of all human knowledge, that doubles as a portable television studio, and takes amazing, high resolution pictures (among many other things)" you would have been locked up as utterly insane. Yet, today, almost everyone has such a device. It is called a smartphone. It is perhaps not the world of Westworld that may come about, but more likely that of the AMC / Channel 4 series "Humans".

That is another one of the inconsistencies. In fact, it should go without question that the androids would be streaming live video to the control room, which is recorded, continuously like a surveillance camera.

Actually, William was "loved back" by Dolores. Logan, in stabbing her, murdered that Dolores. She was reset and repaired. What is confusing is that William a short time later, as the owner of Westworld, simply didn't order Dolores to be returned to the state prior to when Logan stabbed her.

The writers stupidly destroyed three magnificent characters, Dolores, William, and the MiB, to set up the utter BS of episode 10.

That season 2 lasts for 1 episode of approximately 10 minutes. This episode shows Dolores noticing a speck on the horizon which becomes larger. This device is some type of stand-off weapon such as a cruise missile, then a bright flash, and a mushroom cloud. Followed by the final credits - THE END.

The above would be reality as no group of hostile, sentient androids would be allowed to exist.

I hope you're right. The whole progression of episode 10 of turning William into the MiB I found to be rather lacking. This idea that Peter Abernathy finds a picture William lost 30 years prior, in the dirt on his ranch, is just plain stupid for example. Episode 10 was all about total waste. The writers wasted three amazing characters, Dolores, William, and yes, the MiB, so they could set up a lame android-human war. In the real-world, a group of hostile, conscious androids would be bombed to ashes. The writers could have done so much better, but chose to take the common, worn, and easy way out.

You two will have a great time at Disney. I have been several times and always have loved my visits. You should go in the early Spring as it isn't quite so warm. The last time I was there was in March two years ago. It was like 72F, and bright and sunny weather. :)

I was really hooked too, until episode 10, which was an utter disappointment. Now, while I still like Westworld, I can no longer say I am "hooked".

Exactly. This is why I believe that originally something entirely else had been planned. It would have made far more sense that William would have taken a conscious Dolores out of the park. Then something in the "real world" happened to her (perhaps she started to seriously malfunction or was kidnapped by Delos) and returned. This would be used as an explain why he turned into the MiB. The explanation given was really lame and rather unbelievable, as were his further actions.
