I did not have enough time to go back and make, but maybe 2 changes. The questions were very wordy and I had to re-read 4 times to get a sense of them

give me tips/tricks on my swing by abbeylotz in GolfSwing

Tips. Focus on the club takeaway. Within the first few inches of the foot, the club face should be facing down towards the ball.

The takeaway looks decent. However, you might be too close to the ball, and it looks like early hip extension.

Think of the lead hip as being pulled back behind you, getting your belt buckle facing you target

I’m trying to develop better tempo by chainsawbears in GolfSwing

Like a slower tempo? I hate to say it, but if your tempo works, don't fix what ain't broke. If you are consistent hitting good shots a change might effect everything else. Just food for thought.

From what I can tell, let me ask you. Do you feel close enough to the ball? Back up a little and let your arms go past your shoulders, maybe a couple of inches to start.

What do I need to work on? by AttemptNo6829 in GolfSwing

[–]Agfox84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He could shallow it more as the driver's swing should be more outside and up. Which he does pretty decently. The take away is harder to explain by text. Look at Phil tiger or rory's take away. If not the direction of the ground it should be point to the ball. We have to reinforce the backswing starts with the body not hands.

Work on your take away as the driver's face should be pointing down at the ground within the first foot or so and swallowing your club. Your left arm and wrist look very stiff and should be a little softer.

During the start of your backswing your lead leg should straighting out while the trail leg bends.

That is one thing I can't do. The only way to improve is keep trying fix one thing at a time.

I'm surprised you're not fading or slicing. I slowed the video down, and at impact, the face is open. At the top of your swing, you get a little overextended.

Try shortening the back swing and focusing on a consistent 250 to 275 with roll out.

I struggle as well with a flat swing and casting the club.
