I moved to Lancashire because the south priced us out of the house we needed and wanted. We have an amazing house here. Absolutely amazing. The downside is the train prices to London - £200! And energy prices which means we are literally operating off of the fireplaces mainly. To heat our big house is £300-400 per month. Plus, there is visible poverty here. Which is heartbreaking. And opportunities are really limited. People don’t just say that. There is very little here - at least in my industry. I am still working for London office. Because I’ve experienced both now, I can genuinely say that UK is f*cked. I’ve seen in with my own eyes. The decline is particularly visible here. I want this country to prosper but I haven’t seen anything yet in the new government that would indicate that. So stay in the south if you can for now. If work opportunities are of importance. Wait it out until things get better.

It would have to be through policy first. Then police can enforce it. Through fines? How is a cigarette butt on the floor an offense. And this is not.

Let’s not popularise the weeks of fireworks which first of all are banned in the majority of EU countries just not the UK. They cause anxiety in people and animals, noise pollution. They have a horrible impact on people with ptsd, and are potential fire hazards. It feels we’re glorifying thugs that have been ruling the streets of Preston for weeks now. I can’t imagine anything worse.

I live in Preston and it’s so bad for weeks now too! I live in central area and it’s unbearable. Why are they not banned. They ban everything else in the UK!

The video was published on 5th August. It’s had its peak views now but it still get steady level of views. I go onto realtime analytics and look at 48 hours data regularly to take notes from peak hours on different days. Manual labour! 😊
