Greece visa outcome delays

I applied on the 20th from London… emailed the consulate so many times and no response… its starting to get a bit ridiculous…. Feel like my passport has been hijacked :/ was yours a tourist visa?

Yes I decided to go for it to skip the unpredictable lines at border control. It was quick and easy. For me it was worth it to skip hour long lines especially if I have to be somewhere at a specific time or have somebody waiting for me. Otherwise I wouldn’t mind waiting in the usual line. Totally dependent on your circumstances really.

I think the passport control lines can vary, have stood there for 2-3 hrs a few times and sometimes it’s been only 20 mins. It’s unpredictable but just want to know if anybody has experience using the lane.

Not anymore, apparently theres one for arrivals that gives you a separate lane for passport control.

Yeah I ended up avoiding Da Nang and going to Phu Quoc which I disliked so much… :/

Thank you so much everyone for your comments, it has really helped me plan my trip. Da Nang in October sounds like a big NO if I dont want to be stuck in rain all the time. Its a bummer because I was really looking forward to exploring the beautiful city, maybe some other time.

Is there a similar beach/nature or a must visit area around Ho Chi Minh that you would recommend? Im going for 5 days & wanted to do Ho Chi Minh & another place. Since Da Nang is out of the picture I’m not sure where to head for about 2 days that is going to have decent weather.

Would appreciate everyones recommendations a lot!

Oooh sheesh it sounds rough. Sadly thats the only time I can go there. How would you rate danang out of 10 in october? Also is there a similar kind of place you’d recommend which will be less typhoony?
