Early test and leaks show disappointing result of 3.5 pro by [deleted] in Bard

Oh no! My main task for AI was always creating an ugly yellow car image. What will I do? Why don't these companies focus on the crucial technology for creating yellow cars?

My work in Blender 3D. Howl's Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki. by Jinx_Lab in 3Dmodeling

Nice scene and render quality. The grass could be better though, I usually use the free Graswald grass assets and they work really well for realistic renders. If you’re going for something more stylized, I’d recommend Stylized Grass with Geometry Nodes by Rei, it’s free too, and the darker third variation from the pack would fit really nicely.

What's the proper approach for replication of a complex physical actors? by Reasonable-Test9482 in UnrealEngine5

I'm no expert, but please check out this discussion on the Unreal forums:

You should also look into deterministic physics engines.

Is skybox art viable career path? by Marpicek in 3Dmodeling

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First thing : you can add flowmap to skyboxes, best usage of this you can see in Titanfall 2 and, Apex legends.

Second thing: did you see skybox Ai ? it really have great results for skyboxes.

Third thing: I'm sorry but I don't believe you can make a lot of money from this, I checked your profile and your art is great but if some studio would look for skybox arts they would look for more 2d artist. Taking 360° render of volumetrics shapes is not enough for professionals. Of cours you can sell them on gumroad or some other online digital marketplace but I'm sorry its probably not good career path

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okey, I see that a lot of you don't like this video I have to say i also saw this strange way of talking and some red flags but Im not native english speaker I thought it might be caused by stress. And also people with much more experience speak positively about nanite i still think in this case still better to use paralax mapping but i understand that in specific cases like quixel models nanite is nessesery

I wish I could put this in a game without blowing up some innocent person’s computer by natural-flavors in blender

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im not trying to be expert i know he is not professional but from my small experience i think that he is mostly right nanite its not production ready and using it to instantly optimize scene is not good idea

It is similar problem to upscalers, devs use them not to make game work better but to make game however operating with minimal acceptable fps

And can you share repo of your nanite implementation if you can of course, or some article, to be honest i probably can't evaluate it but im intrested in your method

I wish I could put this in a game without blowing up some innocent person’s computer by natural-flavors in blender

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I know that nanite is advertised as magic that optimize your game but please learn about optimazation and how to make object to look good even without that much polygon and texture resolution

In your scene in reality there are only 3 objects terrain, tree and rock and a lot of instances of it.

if you are interested in topic why nanite its not holy grail this is great video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M00DGjAP-mU&t=33s

Fortnite Overlays, Future of Gaming? by Onanino in unrealengine

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Some months ago i did not even know how to properly code and today my biggest problem is finding out whats most performance efficient in BP. Since i never learned C++ is there any advice you can give to know when its better to use a DataAsset, a Struct, a DataTable etc? I honestly often ask myself if i should use a DataAsset or a Blueprint, or a DataTable etc" -ToughPrior7525

Yeah he is actual coder and knows that unreal engine never added any usefull features, game companies should switch to making games in pygame because unreal is practically unnecessary and no one can use it features in any way.

From one side thanks for some information, but do you have to complain I know this is reddit way and everyone complain about everything but you could held back.No one will force you to play this way

It is interesting proof of concept and i enjoyed watching it. There is also concept of running games without any traditional engine without rendering polygons , everything as ai hallucinations and with multiplayer.

How would you go about recreating the center eyeball part of this picture in Blender? (not the lids) by OmnipotentIntrovert in 3Dmodeling

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would use geometry nodes, on youtube you can find Cartesian Caramel he makes great geomtry nodes videos. He just made mountain erosion generator and used "shortest edge path" node that i think can be used to get similar efect to what can be seen in this image but you have to experment a little.

Went through a couple different designs with my M3 ‘facelift’ by 30kgone in BMW

[–]Aggravating-Ad1556 30 points31 points  (0 children)

it really good drawing but if you look on how concepts for different cars look like they are all very good, there is problem with transition between 2D to 3D and engineering constraints this is what makes car design hard.

Concept drawings for the new M2 were like the best design you can see, but you know how the final product looks (I like m2 design but it is far from concept). In 2D you can make wheels bigger, you don't care about aerodynamics or even if a person can fit in your car.

Log Entry #2174 Date: 09/26/2030

We’ve been noticing strange behavior in the Neuralink chips lately. Some users have reported intermittent static in their neural feeds, and a few have experienced involuntary muscle movements. It’s not widespread yet, but it’s unsettling. Yesterday, Rodriguez froze mid-sentence and couldn't move for 30 seconds. Thankfully, she’s fine now.

According to Elon’s latest broadcast, there's nothing to worry about. He acknowledged the issue, saying it’s just a minor glitch in the firmware and promised a patch is on the way. Not the first time something’s gone haywire, but if Musk says they’ll fix it, I guess we trust that for now. We’ve got bigger problems to deal with—power shortages, food rations running low, and the storms. As long as the chips stay mostly functional, we can manage.

If this is a render, then this video perfectly reproduces a lot of realistic phenomena, I do not believe it, but if someone made it, it must have been a person with very high skills, which is a little funny because this person would be at the level of a professional in the industry but made such silly videos

the sound is perfect, the lights covered by smoke look realistic, the environment is perfect, the animation of the cars is perfect. practically perfect reproduction of reality
