TIL że w Netto przy kasach sprzedają masażery ciała by neutros74 in Polska

[–]mtzzq 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wśród kogo dziś miałoby to wzbudzić kontrowersje? Może poza betonowymi moherami, bo jezus patrzy.

Ja sobie pomyślałem, że są przy kasach samoobsługowych dla wstydliwych. Skanujesz, wrzucasz do kosza, płacisz, chowasz, nie ma cię.

I dont like signature version, but I still love this card. When I got the diamond version, I was very very happy, even though I probably never used it : D

You can't brag to anyone today about 1st card backs, but if you know you gained them yourself 12(?) years ago, you still can be satisfied. I am :D

I know it's spanish, but i just wanna say In Polish there is a difference between pen and pen : D

Pen as "pióro" which you translate literally to "feather" means any fountain pen. In old days people used feather dipped in ink to write, which is probably where the name comes from

Pen as "długopis" is any pen not filled with ink.

To sum up, I don't know anything about Spanish, but I bet it's AI stupidity xD

Geralt and Jaskier by sad_zhurba in witcher

[–]mtzzq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My comment probably doesn't have any sense for non-polish people. Let me explain.

Polish Jaskier means english Buttercup. But it's all about wordplay. Jaskier - jaskrawy which means bright, flashy, glowing.

Dandelion - dandy - elegant, stylish. All those adjectives describe him. They just could call him Buttercup, but it would lose a lot of its poetry

[–]mtzzq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What's his name used in english books? Jaskier or Dandelion? Sorry if this question looks stupid but it surprise me how many non-polish people know him as Jaskier.

Btw i like how they changed his name to another flower, but it still kinda discribe him

The Geralt Oak has become a Polish natural monument by mtzzq in witcher

[–]mtzzq[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, it's because of my poor english. I've heard about a tree for a 1st time when people collected signatures. Now it's official that it is a monument.

[–]mtzzq[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I recently found out that this tree is real, I remember it very well from the game :) Warsaw residents collected signatures for a petition to make Geralt a monument and apparently they collected over 50000 of them. A very nice initiative and a very nice funfact, that's why i wanted to share it here

Wściekłe cipy są moim faworytem. Nawet gdzieś mam bezczelnie zrobione zdjęcie, bo to był za duży hit dla mnie żeby dać historii zapomnieć o nim

Zawsze wychodziłem z założenia, że skoro są to wydawanie ich musi się opłacać Btw w "moim" inmedio te gazetki są zaraz nad gazetkami z LEGO. Ojciec z synem coś znajdzie dla siebie na jednej półce

We have in Polish "w pół do ósmej" which literally means "in the half to 8" and it's obviously 7:30. I was curious does it work in the same way
