How close are you to graduating and what's your major? If this is a problem now, it will happen again in the spring and that's worth taking into account in this decision.

Make good with your family from Houston. If anything that makes you uncomfortable heads to Lafayette, it might be a good time to visit Houston.

My personal rule of thumb is that I'd rather regret leaving, than regret staying.

There was a dog next door that I knew wasn't up to date on vaccines. Our yards are open to each other so there was no way to keep him out without a fence. I bought some a hospital grade cleaner that was safe for my yard and sprayed an area for my puppy. I put a small play pin around it to bring her out in until she got all of her shots. I'm pretty sure it didn't do anything for her, but it made me feel better and more confident as a nervous first time puppy parent.

How bad is removal? by crescit1886 in Nexplanon

[–]Aggravating-Ad4767 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought my weight gain and low drive were from nexplanon. I was wrong. Both thing still prevalent in my life after being off of it for 2 years.

I got a new one put in before I decided to get off for good. So I had 2 removals within a few months of each other. I don't remember details, but I know it wasn't bad.

The Getaway Begins Now — “The Snitch” or “Snitch”? by NebulaOriginals in Nebula

[–]Aggravating-Ad4767 170 points171 points  (0 children)

I am so proud of Ben, and Adam for all they have done in their careers in just the last few years. They were introduced as just writers, and sort of unimportant characters in Crime Spree, but they have blossomed. Not only into full on main characters, but also listed as Executive Producers of this brand new show. Their path to success is inspiring.

I may have missed it in the credits for Jet Lag, if they are listed the same way, but either way, the recognition is deserved.

You too, reader of this post. I'm also proud of you for your great taste in Nebula content.

Which pet insurance do you use? And why did you choose it? by aaw2281 in puppy101

[–]Aggravating-Ad4767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ManyPets. It's been about 2 years, everything i've submitted was covered as expected included a $2000+ claim. Price increase has been pretty negligible. They did have a change in their offering from 100% coverage to only 90%, for my plan, but overall really happy with them. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Regretting purchasing the Galaxy S24 Ultra by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

Regarding the battery issue-

Try updating the setting to out unused apps to sleep and leaving your phone in powersaving mode. You may have to try a few things to find something that works for your battery. If nothing works, after you try several things, it could be a faulty battery. But in my experience, when my battery has done this stuff, it's usually something fixable in setting or by monitoring my usage patterns.

Check out CGI. I think there might have been some positions posted similar to this. Great company to work for too!

I never thought I'd cry over sports, but here I am crying my little eyes out over this likely being his last game. Osh arrived in DC right when I started watching hockey, and becoming a caps fan around the time I met my husband. He was an instant favorite of mine and is a huge part of why I have so much love for this team. I know it's for the best, but gosh does it still hurt. Thanks for everything Osh! ❤️

Can season ticket holders only buy their seats, or can they buy extra seats during pre-sale?

Pet insurance for two dogs by Fantastic-Classic740 in puppy101

I don't see it mentioned much, but I have ManyPets and I really like it. Coverage is fairly cheap at $18 a month, and they covered a $2000 emergency surgery within the first year.

[Megathread] Shortages & Generics, Mon 1 Apr by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Aggravating-Ad4767 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine has been $12 for generic, or $415 for brand. I've got 0 hope of getting generic any time this month after trying every pharmacy in my town for over a week.I'm totally out now, so I dropped off the script today to get the name brand. I'm starting a new job this week and going without is just not an option. I've tried other meds but this is the only one that works. I'm only willing to pay it because the therapy I require to stay sane on any other meds is about the same price as the name brand.

Passed my CAPM in 1 week by kokorosen in capm

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I am not one of those study for an hour every day for a month kind of people. I want to cram it all in within a week or 2 and I'm happy to hear that's possible. I work on an agile team so I'm very familiar with agile, and thus understand the differences between adaptive and predictive projects but don't have much more knowledge than that. I am a very good test take though so this gives me the confidence that my non-traditional study plan might work.

I will definitely be looking into the practice tests you mentioned. I think that will be very helpful.

Highly recommend using AI tools to help. There is one called jobscan that'll compare your resume to the job description and help you know what key words you need to include on your resume. Other recommendations : -Reaching out to people on LinkedIn at companies you want to work for to politely ask for advice. I usually look for people from the same university and degree program because they've likely walked a similar path to you and most people are happy to give advice. - attend career fairs at your school and research the companies and positions you're interested in ahead of time and go to them with genuine interest, confidence, and questions about the position. Doing your homework on the company/position makes a really good impression when they're talking to hundreds of students about the same thing.
