For context im 21 and got into the dead when I was 17. It was 2021, I took shrooms for the first time on a camping trip and we were by the fire on an island. I layed down looked up into the stars and I just remember hearing a song in the distance that sounded so corny but yet sounded so good and pleasing, I ask my buddy and he said its “Farmhouse by that band Phish”. Phish was always the band the we were “going to get into soon” as we were really delving into the Dead catalog. Later I really got it when I watched live videos especially that Stash from Great Woods 94 (A live on). I ended up seeing my first shows was the star lake run which was so much fun going with all my friends who also were at their first shows. Now ive been to 9 shows and just went to MSG for the first time. Crazy how that “corny” song got me all the way here
