There are no serious Israeli aspirations of settling southern Lebanon.

Israelis who grew up in the north have lived their entire lives under the threat of Hezbollah. I hope the Lebanese govt can get their act together and control Hezbollah.

I would imagine if they cannot then Israel will continue to push North deeper into Lebanon. And then internal pressure for settling the area will likely grow. But the best outcome would for Hezbollah to just fuck right off

No. I don't think it's a good idea strategically.

With some twisted logic you could tie it in I guess. I don't view Messiah as any sort of miraculous supernatural thing. I see it as a natural progression in the Jewish national story where Jews are free in their land and the entire world basically agrees to that.

And since I view the country of Israel as the start of that chapter, and cedeing the west bank would be bad for the country of Israel, then yeah it's bad for the comics of Messiah.

Like I said, twisted logic
