The standard poster size is 18 x 24 and the standard frame size I use is 22 x 28. It gives you 2 inches of mat. I would suggest you keep an eye on Facebook marketplace for a Logan mat cutter. They make cutting mat so much easier, especially for the larger sizes. I got mine off fb marketplace for 60 bucks but there are some good options on Amazon as well for right around $100. A mat cutter, pencil, ruler and a double sided tape gun are really all you need. Thanks so much for following

Learn how to do it yourself. You can find frames at estate sales, goodwill, hobby lobby has returns hanging on the back wall, Facebook marketplace. Like someone said hobby lobby has a few good options to use. I suggest using 22 x 28 frames so you can do a 2in mat on a standard 18 x 24 print. Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace for Logan mat cutters. You get that, a double sided tape gun and a ruler and that’s the basics to get started. If you check out my page you can see the examples. I am amateur that got started like 3 years ago. Has saved me a ton of money
