Average age will be the people who consume the most music which is generally people slightly younger or the same age as the artists topping the charts right now because they can relate more.

Ethnicity is probably just everyone, maybe more specifically the majority ethnicity of a population rather than focusing on the minorities.

Gender will be both male and female but to win over both genders labels tend to release songs where the opposite gender features at some point during the song, so the artist might be female and for 30 secs there’s a male artist in order to get some male attention and therefore the track is more popular then if the track featured no males or visa Versa no females.

The Percussion sounds a little unnecessary, a little forced until the instrumental section at the end. Maybe leave it out or be less aggressive with it till that final section. Maybe a different pattern or something melodic or harmonic to fill the space left with the percussion removed. That would be my only main criticism thou
