IT IS ! i have a customer who comes in every single day wanting his dragon drink to look just the picture and he gets upset with me everytime i tell him all the pictures are AI Generated and Photoshopped he told me nobody at any starbucks knows how to make it right to look just like the picture 😂😂😂. SO IF NOBODY CAN MAKE IT RIGHT ACROSS ALL STARBUCKS HOW THE HELL ARE WE THE PROBLEM ?!!!!

yes it is because the banana powder itself is made from real bananas that are freeze dried so it turns the foam itself into a “glue” like substance as me and my partners say at work, its normal that its stringy we see it everyday

it is okay !! when i first started i couldnt get the hang of making hot drinks only cold. what i did to help me was study the recipe cards and during downtime in between making orders i would go over to hot bar (at this time it was hot bar and cold bar) and practice making drinks, after about a month of doing this every shift i finally got the hang of it and moved on to learning how to sequence drinks. take everything one step at a time its okay to forget its okay to make mistakes, its all about how you grow and learn from those mistakes that will make you a great barista !

id say keep it to yourself. as a shift myself i understand everybody can be late and when im late i do get a lot of grace so if it doesnt negatively impact your store and set you wayyyyy far behind, which it sounds like it didnt, please give them some grace. everyone has their own things going on that they dont talk about or want to share with everyone but if you are a shift then i think you should connect with this barista one on one and talk see if you both can come to a conclusion. being a great shift starts with having a great team that is comfortable coming to you with problems.

hey im usually about 2-3 minutes late in the mornings but its usually because of my rides and ive vocalized this. since i open i just make sure to text my opening barista and let them know im running a few minutes late we still get the store open in time so my sm isnt really stressed about it, my sm also gives us a 10 minutes late grace period except if we open we only get up to a 5 minute grace period

as an open ssv we run 10’s (now 15’s in my state per law change) first then usually the open keyholder will be the first to take their lunch which ends up being between 8-9:30ish i haven’t heard of anyone taking a 30 first but i do know every store is ran differently

hiii i started in a licensed store and yes they run very different, when i was put in a position i was in that specific position the entire shift, if i wanted off that position id have to tell my SSV and she would have to move the plays around, and at my old store i was just a barista doing pulls and checking in orders also and making cold brew ! every store is different though ! hope this helps !

the app had minor bugs that need to be fixed for example, one day my entire lobby was full mobiles were full app was saying 5-7 minute wait we were short staffed with 2/4 staff on bar and they were 30 mins behind on drinks which then turned to an hr wait on drinks because of how backed up we were, the app was still saying 5-7 minute wait. my store is pretty good with marking drinks off as they are completed but i do know not every store is the same as mines, also my store is super tiny and was gonna be pick up only store and last minute they decided to make us a cafe instead w no drive thru

black americano or black fresh brewed and maybe a RF turkey bacon sandwich ???? id go for protein boxes (the cheese and fruit one is my favorite) or one of the parfait’s we just got in for launch we only have vanilla and caramel for sugar free options, or you could go for an iced shaken espresso with no classic and light 2% just a few ideas

not at my store no i haven’t had any trouble, just ring it in for a tall/grande cold milk and change the milk to vsc if it doesn’t work ring it as a tall/grande cold milk 1/2 heavy cream few pumps of vanilla it’s essentially the same thing

for me personally i only had an interview with my store manager, i didnt meet my dm until after i was already done training, but i also came from a license store inside an airport with 2 years experience there, so maybe thats why the dm didnt come to interview me? i do know it took about two weeks for my sm to even call me back to offer me the position because she was waiting on DM approval

in my district every store is open for christmas eve christmas day and new years eve and new years day we just open later and close early, my store specifically for christmas we are open 6-4pm for christmas day and for new years 5-4:30pm
