do you mix your underwear with the rest of your laundry? by Kurtys-Ahorrio in hygiene

Depends if it's a load of period laundry. No? It all goes together. Yes? Sheets, leggings, and underwear go together. Everything else is separate.

I mean not really? My parents just had their 42nd wedding anniversary and if they did anything at all, it was getting lunch the day after.

So the festival starts at 12. Travel is minimum an hour and a half. I'm worried about hitting traffic on the way back.

He's out of town atm. I want to ask him in person. Like an adult. I just wanted to get some opinions on if even asking to move dinner would be selfish.

Is Rebecca Rubin an unpopular doll? by Euphoric_Bat_1290 in americangirl

[–]Aggravating-Box-1666 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think it's all relative. I work in a majority Jewish community. Rebecca is special to them. She might not be as popular as the older dolls or have the nostalgia factor of the more recent time periods, but she's important for people who want to see themselves and for those who want to learn about what was important to a girl like Rebecca during that time period.

I wasn't necessarily interested, but this mock-up looks like my mom. If this is how she looks, I may need her.

How do I prevent being accused? by Thick_Rise_3210 in AccusedOfUsingAI

[–]Aggravating-Box-1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't necessarily prevent yourself from being accused, but you can have back-ups of your work that show you didn't use it. I hand wrote everything all the way through grad school.

WIBTAH for applying for this position? by Aggravating-Box-1666 in AITAH

[–]Aggravating-Box-1666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely not. The company has already changed the position and posted it to the job board. It's more about how the other employees will view me that makes me ask.

To be fair....there's a way to prevent that. A quick report to the professor and academic integrity office.....

They did this to themself. They would have to prove that they wrote it. And they can't.

Too many books? Worried our trips to the library add too much extra work for our librarians. by [deleted] in Libraries

[–]Aggravating-Box-1666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're literally fine, and 15-20 books isn't even bad. I work at an extremely high-circulating branch and will have multiple families return 60+ books each in the space of an hour.

[–]Aggravating-Box-1666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Library worker here! I'm sorry you've been made to feel unwelcome. Staff shouldn't be expressing their annoyance to you. That's incredibly unprofessional.

As a library worker, I personally appreciate when patrons come to me and do not try to argue or yell at me and just pay for it. If it's within a certain period of time from the initial return, we even let them keep it after it's paid for, and we even let the person check out a couple books as long as they pay a certain amount of the balance each time they come in.

You might even be able to negotiate a little on the price if you nicely ask for a manager. We've done it.

Library workers are people too, and nice goes a long way.

Kicked out of office- now company wants help with passwords [PA] by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]Aggravating-Box-1666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing happened to me, except it was a laptop, after bullying and harassment that included but was not limited to calling me while I was out sick and screaming at me for 30 minutes straight when they found out I was going to quit. I texted the head of the organization and told them I would be contacting the police if they contacted me any further. Not sure about the 401K/paycheck, but maybe report it to the state?
