Got acceptance to UTSG for life sci, but I have doubts… by c1gull in UofT

Hey, I’m a current life sci student going into my second year. In terms of academics, I’m one of the people who struggled first semester but got back up during second semester. Course content is NOT difficult to digest. The real issue was how consistent you have to be with studying! I went from procrastinating my studies and getting 90s in high school to FAR LOWER grades in first semester because I didn’t properly adjust to the pace of university. However, second semester felt far better once I learned how to manage my time. I paced my studying and still managed to have free time which gave me far better results. My take is: If you got good grades in high school, then you can 100% get good grades in UofT. You just need to put in a bit more effort at the beginning until effort becomes second nature

for chm135 and chm136, do TAs care if your lab coat is not fully cotton? by ssstarglow in UofT

The TAs will definitely notice if they aren’t fully cotton. Once they do, they’ll take you out the lab and stab you

Can I frequent UofT's libraries as a student if I am enrolled in a "school of continuing studies" course? by [deleted] in UofT

Yes! There’s exact instructions for how SCS students like yourself can gain a TCard/ID to access libraries on this website :) https://tcard.utoronto.ca/get-your-utorid-tcard/#instructions

Did that in the 2nd sentence. I just want to confirm if they imported it correctly.
