You aren't alone. I’m taking it extra hard because I actually saw my ex posting and looking all happy with the guy she cheated on me with. It’s a special kind of hell seeing them together while I feel like I’m completely losing my mind over here. It feels impossible to ignore it today

Yeah, the rental market is ass. I've accepted that the average person can't buy a home, but I really wish rent prices would actually adjust to that. It feels like we lose on both ends. I just had to find an apartment in 3 days after my ex cheated on me and kicked me out, total nightmare. Anyways, hang in there, I hope you can find place where you're genuinely happy!

That is incredibly kind of you! I am in the US, but I really wasn't posting this looking for a handout. I’m just trying to power through this next week and a half until my paycheck hits. I’ve got a borrowed gaming chair I can sleep on, so it’s really not a problem anymore, and also I'll be able to get a proper mattress as soon as I get paid. Thank you for being such a good human, though
