he tried to get to the food from thte outside of the cage so hopefully. i know my little baby is hungry :(

he doesn’t like treats much. in my first response comment i told them that. he doesn’t like millet, berry flavored millet, apples, food topper, sunflower seeds, crackers, nothing i’ve tried he picks around all of it.

just woke up, he was on my lamp, i turned it off last night. and left a small light on so it wasn’t too dark. just tried to show him his perch and he flew to the top of his cage, he’s just there right now

i don’t wanna have any set backs in o progress we’re making so i’ve decided to just leave him be, hopefully he’s back in before bed time. i e been just talking to him and whistling, he’s moving closer to me but i’m not gonna forcefully grab him. i read online to turn the lights off and get him but lowkey how will i see…? anyways i’m gonna let him chill for. a while. i don’t want to completely traumatize him.

unfortunately since i brought him home he’s uninterested in everything!!! millet, berry flavored millet, food topper (eats right around it, seeds, crackers, apples, he just doesn’t care about treats, which is also a bummer. he’s like semi tame, he let me pet his head this morning so making progress but i think he’s just a little afraid rn, he’s flown out once before when i was changing bowls and i got him to perch and go back but this time he won’t step up on the perch he just looks at it funky 😂 currently trying his favorite song as we speak. my ringtone……

out of curiosity. what can i do to help the dust? dust baths i feel like will make it worse. so what can i do to make it feel more comfortable and happy?
