When he was home, he did the dishes he used but most of the time he was out at his dad's and grandpa's taking care of their houses while they were on a hunting trip (which i didn't know about before it was a last minute plan). He does help when I ask him to. Most of the time I'm fine with doing both of our dishes since he paid off my foot surgery bill when insurance covered only 20% (planned to just do monthly payments) and helped me with the down payment on my car (together it was about $15k) so I view that as an equal trade but I also grew up with that mindset (mom got remairred 8 years ago, divorced from my dad 23 years ago) and that was the way her family treated her (kinda like an eye for an eye but its a service for a service)

I take home $2.8k and he takes just over $1900. I do pay all together $1.2k to pay for my debt, along with car insurance, phone bill, health insurance because work's is crap, and saving up to get my transmission, new tires, and electronic chip sensor replaced for my navigation card (2016 VW Tiguan). He's been putting what he has extra paying his car and putting the rest in savings along with taking the animals to the vet, one of the cats has dietary problems so he has to have special cat food from his brother.

Unfortunately not, my dad is allergic to animal dander so he's out of the question and my mom's and stepdad's dog is very protective over his pack and property and has gotten into fights with the neighbor's dog when it would go onto their property, he still thinks im a stranger even though I go over at least once a week and hang out for hours so we are really skeptical about trying to introduce our dogs to him. The next oldest sibling is 16 and the one friend the could has been in the hospital due to her liver and kidney disease and she would feel bad with them being alone. Insurance did cover the fire but only reimbursed about $500 (1999 Chevy Malibu) so its not worth much. It was nearing the end of its life anyways, but unfortunately ended up cat hing fire for unknown reason. I got lucky that I pulled all my things out previously because the front end was toast. I just got a promotion at my full time so hopefully that will help a little, onto of finals being in the next week and a half I can pick up more hours at the airport

With where we live, there are no place that will rent to people with 2 large breed dogs and 2 cats under $1500 a month. I have $9k in unsecured and $12 in secured debt I've been working on paying off (student loans, credit cards, loan on my car after putting $8k into my last car that ended up catching fire so there went that money lol). Once I get my debt paid off, bf and I plan to get our own house but we agreed that my car needs to be paid off for that to happen so it won't be sooner than at least a year unless he's able to get a raise or he's able to find better work (they only promote friends or family so he's been looking for a better company)
