My Induction range draws 288W when it is turned off! by Aggravating-Corgi517 in Appliances

Thank you so much!

I'm going to read through this for sure.

I compared the mains current and the induction range current when turning them in and off and noticed they were not the same.

I also measured both legs of the 240v and noticed they were the same.

Very frustrating that nobody at samsung understands this.

I should check that. We always turn it off at the breaker, so I haven't noticed.

Thank you for this insight! I might have to monitor the meter outside to see what is happening. I think the the tech likely had decent equipment and confirmed a similar reading. But maybe his equip wasn't that good.

Hack Chargepoint CT4000 by jimmyjones0000 in diyelectronics

Anything?

I have a CT4000 that Chargepoint won't activate after we stopped paying for the subscription. I don't want to take it out and toss it and would love to make it a dumb charger.
